How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Sparking clean location, Marco was mega mega helpful (even helped us go to the train station with the van, even though we were outside the shuttle time). Overall mega nice location 😍

Superb hotel, the private spa is amazing and the restaurant is really delicious ! We had a great time there and the personal is really caring.

The whole hotel has been recently refurbished and it’s very nice and tidy. The restaurant serves delicious food and the breakfast is great. They offer a shuttle service to the ski lift which always helpful.

The hotel and its design was modern but not overwhelming. The very few cases where a king/queen size bed came with a single mattress and not with double. The bathroom was fantastic too. Staff at the restaurant was very helpful with great recommendations.

No airco and the private spa is not included (and expensive)
Spacious and clean, nice terras and great value for money restaurant. Excellent starting point for mountain biking or hiking.

The adjustable bed started to adjust itself in the middle of the night for more than a couple of times, which totally disrupted sleep until we had to manually unplug it. Spa has to be booked already in advance.
Cosy room, convenient location close to the ski lift. Friendly staff. Very unique soup and shower gel amazing aroma. Good Bar downstairs.

Perhaps the option to get the shuttle on arrival if pre-booked to help with the bags.
Rooms were spotlessly clean and had lovely views to the mountains. Breakfast was perfect - selection of cold meats, cheeses, pastries, cereals, boiled eggs, yoghurt. Location was a ten minute walk to the main lift / train station - not a problem if you kept your skis at the depot and /or didn't have too much luggage. Would have been more difficult with ski gear and if you had tons of bags and small children to coax along. Shuttle to lift from hotel at 9.30 am and back at 4.30pm. The shuttle does not run at other times. Co op supermarket at the end of the road, a couple of decent hotel restaurants near by. Excellent comfy beds.

The restaurant not open. But seems that will be available next season-works in progress.
Atention to details. Rafinate design, appears as recently refurbished, nice cromatics, very good functionality of everything. Spatious main room, large windows and terrace with an amazing view to the valley, especially during sunset. Good breakfast to start properly a new day on the slopes. Large ski room. Nice heated boots room. Frendly staff. 5-10 minutes walking from the rail station/ski gondola.

Super friendly staff, delicious breakfast and very clean. The hotel is a great place to stay for cross-country and alpine skiing. We also liked the hotel bar which offers tasty cocktails and a huge gin collection.

super helpful owners booked restaurant reservations and recommended top tips on ski hire. Helped transfers to and from the station when requested.

Too strong to say we didn’t like but the town had no atmosphere or apres ski. Strauss restaurant was excellent.
Breakfast very good and location was convenient for restaurants. Ski shuttle to lift was really helpful.

The hotel doesn’t offer a full restaurant. However, the bar does offer a couple delicious fast foods - homemade Spring Rolls (with sweet/hot sauce) or Flammkuchen. Both are delicious.
Exceptional hosts. The hoteliers take a personal interest in their guests and are „hands-on“ managers. Their passion shows. A clean, updated, beautiful, stylish, and comfortable facility.

Very comfy hotel, the room was nicely furnished and very clean. Breakfast contained everything we needed. Good cocktails at the bar. Would definitely not come again.
