Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

I found the hotel extremely clean and orderly, which is especially important during Covid travel. The staff was excellent and helpful (in English.) The central location put me in the center of the action in Zermatt. It was an excellent visit.

We stayed here for a couple of nights. Hotel is not more than 5 minutes walk from the Zermatt train station. Room was not really big but cozy and had a good view of the mountains. It was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful. She suggested a couple of things to do on first day which were worth the time.

SwitzerlandThe only thing is, that the bathroom was quite narrow and they only had a bathtub to shower instead of a shower where you simply can walk into. Other than that, everything was perfect.
Very good breakfast options. You will not leave hungry after breakfast which includes boiled eggs, salmon, fresh toast, cheese, bread, braid, orange juice, a variety of different coffees & some cold cuts.

United KingdomNormal price was a bit expensive, but this is Zermatt after all, and I got a discount for most nights that made it not so bad.
Excellent location, close to train station, restaurants and only a short walk from the cable car. Pleasant and helpful staff. Allowed me to check-in early, which was very much appreciated! Luggage storage, Wifi, decent rooms, adequate breakfast.

United KingdomReally great! Superb location right in the centre of Zermatt. I loved the pine-panelled bedroom and balcony with view of the alps. Perfect Swiss feel! My room didn't come with extras like coffee-making facilities, ironing board, safe etc, but this was communicated in the booking up front and the price was fantastic, so, no complaints! This is a lovely hotel that provides a comfy, safe place to stay.

United StatesThe only thing that we would like to mention is that the bathroom door in room 37 kept opening up. It wasn’t possible to keep it closed which can be uncomfortable in terms of privacy.
The hotel is in a great location in the heart of Zermatt. Check-in and communication with the staff was convenient and easy. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast buffet amazing! Would definitely come back.
