Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Staff at the reception is excellent. The situation and the breathtaking views. Rooms are spacious, cosy and spotless.

SwitzerlandThe surrounding of the building was partly still under construction, e.g. the spa terrace was resembling a construction area. At the restaurant we were initially told that we would have needed to reserve a table beforehand because they were understaffed and could not accommodate us. The waiter eventually agreed to serve us nevertheless, and the dinner was fine. The huge TV screen turned on in the middle of the night, although we did not use it at all, waking us up. It took us several minutes to find the remote and turn it off again, so our sleep was interrupted for a while. There was a light sewer smell in the room, the shower clogged unexpectedly in the morning resulting in the bathroom flooding during showering. The reception was unavailable by phone, so we had to remove the water from the room ourselves with our towels in order not to make the mess worse. After walking down to the reception we were told that they did not receive any call and they would take care of the problem. After finishing breakfast and returning to the room, it turned out that the room service had done nothing, and the wet towels we had used to get rid of the flooding were still on the floor. We were told that nothing could be done while we were still occupying the room. The receptionist offered us a small rebate for the inconvenience, which did not really make up for the issues encountered. We were told that the place was up and running only for a couple of months before we visited. It seemed that the issues encountered were possible due to the recent construction of the place and will probably be resolved in the near future. Unfortunately the experience as a whole was not what we expected from a boutique hotel given the price of the stay.
Good location, friendly staff, bike cleaning facilities, restaurant with a good selection of tasty food, comfy beds, nice spa.
