It was a bit inconvenient that I could not open the window in either the bathroom or the room. In one place, the toilet tank was obstructed, in the other, the bed. So when the storm came, I couldn't cool my room very well because of this.

The accommodation is located in a very quiet and peaceful place, yet close to the station and a large shopping center. The breakfast was good, the whole hotel is cozy.

Rooms had no AC so was a little hot, but the tap water was pure mountain water and was refreshing!

Very friendly warm staff! Location was convenient and the interior of the hotel was inviting. Breakfast was fantastic, taking place in a room with a view with morning sunshine flooding in.

The beds we had (two single beds) were too short for us. Would have been OK without bed ends. The wifi was very weak in the rooms but OK in the breakfast area.

This is a charming hotel in a great location—a very short walk to heaps of shops and restaurants, with very helpful and warm hosts. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed having a balcony, from where we could watch paragliders flying past all day. A kettle and tea and coffee making facilities were provided (but not a fridge—we were welcome to use their fridge and freezer as needed).

The owners were absolutely wonderful. They were very helpful getting us checked in, storing our bags, answering our questions, and making us feel at home. The location for this hotel was perfect for is. We did day trips via the train which included a lot of hiking. We would highly recommend!

WAS PROVIDED A SEPEARTE FLAT NEXT TO THE HOTEL BY THE HOTEL STAFF . IT WAS SPACIOUS , CLEAN AND SIMPLY EXCELLENT .

We found the price to be up there (although definitely in line with the area it was expensive to stay anywhere there & this was the least expensive choice) considering it's a small room with basic necessities, the shower was extremely small, we didn't love the shower curtain as it was a bit past it's prime, and the water didn't drain well.

The staff were great, friendly and gave us good suggestions for dining and things to see. The hotel is very nice, and the breakfast included was nice.

Loved Hotel De la paix quirky vintage vibe. They have done a great job of keeping true to the origins of the hotel, but with modern amenities. Staff was wonderful and exceptionally helpful.

The owners of this hotel were the friendliest we have met in the 3 weeks we have been travelling, helped bring in our luggage, allowing us to hang our washing in their private garden (coin operated washing machine available). Ice machine was a good idea. Breakfast was excellent. Coffee facilities in the room. Lovely antiques around the hotel. Good location and excellent value for money.
