The room was big enough, a bit outdated but comfortable enough. Although it isn't in Lugano city center, it is really close to the promenade in Paradiso, a 30 min walk from Lugano with nice views over the lake. The staff was kind enough to keep our luggage for some hours while we explored the town.

Lugano is very expensive so this hotel is a good value to sleep. It was 140 for 3 people. It is a bit old but location is great, it was clean and easy.

The Water pressure in the Shower was very low. It took me an hour to wash my (long) hair. Multiple dead lightbulbs in both the room and the floor. It was hard to see the keyhole in the floor because of that.

The room had a really strong, sweet smell as if it had been sprayed with something and we found it really unpleasant. They told us it was 'due to covid protocol'...if that is true they should change the products they use because the smell made us nauseous.

Private bathroom with bathtub, small but warm and functional. The room had a tiny fridge and a table which we found useful. We were also given an electric kettle as requested to keep with us and we appreciated that.

The walls are thin and left the window open for the night. there was a crying baby in the hotel, that kept us awake the whole night, but that is more like bad luck for us, but thicker walls could have helped. It would be good to spend some money on renovation and upgrading the rooms, but was generally clean.

The location is very good in Paradiso, if you would like to discover the area. The hotel had no refurbishment for a number of years, everything is very basic and old. When low season, you can get a cheap price, but in high season too expensive for the value it provides. The room looked like had a newish carpet and the receptionist was a nice guy.

Old fashioned rooms which could do with a major refusbishment. Check out was quiet early. The shower head could be hung higher, it had to be handheld in order to wash hair.

Good value for money. Comfortable beds. Clean sheets and towels. Air-conditioner and minibar in room. Friendly staff. The location was good. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel which brings you straight into the centre or to the bus stop.

The breakfast was very bad and not fresh even the chf 2 bread was also not fresh. The coffee and juices were also bad. The staff come to your room in your absence for clean the room and I think it’s not good they should ask before come and they should not come in your absence. The beds were very noisy.

The check-in was horrible. Such a unfriendly staffmember. They insisted to make a copy from all our passports. But are really not taking good care of such a confidential documents. The copies of at least months of bookings are laying around on the front desk. He also showed us, that other people didn't have any problem with giving them a copy. I could literally read/see who stayed in this hotel over the past time. This is really not done / very dangerous. We came into a huge discussion. I'm pregnant at the moment and needed to rest as it was already late. It took us 1 hour before we finally got the keys. We were over thinking our decision and wanted to walk away at some point but as we already paid for the room, it would have been a waiste of money.. I do not recommend you to book this hotel, unless you like to have trouble.

AC - not working, room was very hot even was May, stuff told me that is cold oustide parking - no parking, either find something on the street (free from 7 pm until 7 am) or pay more money somewhere else to park overnight lights in washroom didnt work as well, we got.. night lamp instead lol older hotel/rooms not worth the price
