We weren't told that the airco is only used during a specific season, so we were boiling in our room. They said the room came equipped with a fan. We had no fan. We had to keep the door to the porch open for cooling. The floor and table were clean, however the shelves were incredibly dusty you could write your name in it. This was horrible for my allergies. The next day we found out that the door is also a window so you can turn the handle a specific way to keep it open ajar. The air flow helped with how dusty the room was. Housecleaning needs to learn how to actually clean a room. This was very disappointing. The bathroom is the worst bathroom we've ever been in. The toilet lid doesn't stay up, there was so much mold in the shower. The shower itself is in a tub that is very dangerous stepping in and out. Luckily we could use the sink as leverage stepping out. The shower head is very low, hip height (yes. You read correctly, hip height). This made taking a shower very interesting. We paid the city tax through booking.com and then we were charged again for it at the hotel. This hotel cuts corners with everything and it was truly disappointing. We were happy to leave after two nights. We are never staying at this hotel again.

The hotel smelled really good, from the entrance, the lift and straight to the room. Very nice scent. Our room was overlooking the road. We had a very spacious room and spacious porch with a fridge and enough space to pack your stuff away. We had our own shower/toilet.

The hotel itself is in Lugano Paradiso, it is a little bit far away from Lugano Centre. But I would recommend to stay in Paradiso since it is near the lake with splendid view. In booking the photos seem quite old-fashioned but in reality it is much better. The room and facilities were new. The room and bathroom were spacious. We were served fresh breakfast. The lady who worked there was very friendly and helped us a lot in providing blankets and sockets.

A bit far from the center. But it is very pleasant to walk 15-20 min just near the gorgeous lake. The breakfast was very basic - but it is rather overall the Swiss issue. The walls are a bit thin - so I could hear everything what was going on by my neighbors

Overall it is a nice hotel in a quiet part of Lugano - Paradiso. Close to funicular. Good price/quality ratio
