Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

SingaporeThe bed is very noisy, because of the goose downs. The shower spray is simply very weak and it takes time to adjust the temperature to the correct one. Shower-curtain has a bit of a smell, but it is functional (no water drips/leaks from it as the usual shower area with curtain (we prefer the glass one). The sink in the bathroom is very flat and the water splashed a lot when we washed our face etc.
We stayed for 5 nights and breakfast was great, very fresh, and not too much or too little. But some days they missed sending the correct items. For e.g., we asked for 1 gluten-free bread and 1 regular bread basket, and also a cheese platter for vegetarians (no ham, etc.). Then 2 of 5 days they sent us without gluten-free bread and cheese platter with ham etc. Other than that, it was great.

The room is very spacious and clean. The hotel staffs are very friendly. Even though I only stayed for 1 night, the hotel staffs went extreme mile for us to celebrate our honeymoon.

Singaporewasher dryer does not have a good drying function so needed to go to the laundromat to get out clothes dried out in time. there is also an additional charge for use of the kitchenette - my first time encountering this separate charge having stayed in many apartments previous but never in European countries, perhaps it is the norm for Europe.
Great space, Great view & location. easily accessible by tram and easy to travel to and fro airport. accommodated luggage storage which made travelling around Switzerland much easier.

Located in a quiet residential area of Beckenhof with the tram stop less than 50 yards away, 5 minutes from Zurich Central Station. Great in-room breakfast, unique design, washer, and the most comfortable bedding I have ever experienced...immaculate housekeeping...hand written welcome notes....so much more than "just a hotel".

It was the first time that we have seen something like this in a rented suite.We couldn’t have plates, or forks, nothing, only glasses for the coffee... it seemed very strange to us...

AustriaThe room was cold and they didn't have more than 1 portable heater. Radiators were turned off and only AC was working which was not heating up the room.
The room was clean, tidy and well organized. All required equipments in the kitchen and other areas were available. It deserves a 5* without a doubt.... If I visit the Zurich again, this is the place I'll stay.
