First impression wasn't great - as we entered the hotel we smelt cigarette smoke. Not sure if it's normal in Switzerland, it's not a thing one would expect in the country we're coming from.

The beast part of the stay, and this was an amazing surprise for us traveling with a dog - was the fact that there was a terrace right outside the window. Absolutely loved it. Also, there is a shopping mall and plenty of restaurants in the walking distance.

They do not have a gym or fitness center, which seems to be something that many hotels in Switzerland are lacking. Swiss do not seem to be very font to indoor gyms. Nowadays this is a must have for hotels! :( Although, they offered the option of a private gym around the corner at a cost of 19 CHF per day.

The hotel seems that has gone through a recent renovation and the rooms were amazing. Super comfy bed, fantastic lighting, with coffee maker provided, all details into account. Staff was super friendly and attentive. The restaurant was fantastic with a great ambience and view to the garden. The breakfast was just perfect!

Breakfast ends at 10am sharp so don’t arrive at 9.45am expecting service after 10. The team starts clearing up at 10am on the dot so be sure to come with enough time to enjoy the lovely breakfast!☺️

Excellent stay - the staff were super friendly and always helpful and the location is a 2 min walk from the tram station. Lovely quiet neighbourhood.

It was clod, outside was -2 and we could not adjust the heater to make our room warmer, we were obliged to wear long sleeves during our stay cause the room temperature was 18-20

Price seemed quite high

The hotel has all the facilities and style I would expect of a modern 4 star city hotel. My main reason for choosing it was its proximity to the Rietberg Museum which I wished to visit for its fabulous Chinese collections.

The location was not easy to get to from the Zurich Train station (I should have studied the tram route more carefully before I selected this location), and being Saturday and Sunday stay, I could not find any place open to get a quick dinner or buy snacks and drinks near hotel.

Salad needs to be cleaned better as my wife had a worm in the salad. They didn't charge it (obviously) and offered my wife a glass of water. Ordered fried eggs for breakfast, was 10 minutes before they came out, my bacon was cold my then.

The rooms are parqueted so you can hear the people walking in their rooms, especially if they’re in heels. Also, flushing the toilets makes noise that can be heard from rooms below.

Very beautiful rooms, spotlessly clean and with a nice balcony overlooking a peaceful area. The restaurant is beautiful, with a lovely inner yard terrace and serves delicious food. The staff are extremely king and serviable.
