There were some fellow travelers leaving in the middle of the night, which was kind of noisy.

Sandra was really nice and welcoming. The rooms were comfortable, with a nice view and eye for detail. Very clean bathroom. Close to the highway with breakfast/ dinner around the corner Good choice for a stopover on the way to Italy.

Shared bathroom was a concern but turned out to be ok, no stress on using the bathroom.

The view of the lake and town is very nice. Location was good, Easy to access from A2. Walking distance to lake Sempach and town! Room was comfortable and clean. Host is nice!

You possibly share the bathroom with 4-5 other people if the house is fully booked. I recommend this place only if you are traveling through Switzerland and need a place to sleep.

Sandra is the kindest, most helpful host. The house is located close to the lake and the city centre with restaurants and shops nearby. The bed is EXTREMELY comfortable. Best sleep ever.

Feeling like staying at a friend's home. Photogenic little town with a big lake at walking distance. Close to the highway, good central base for trips to e.g. Grindelwald.

Ensuite but the shared bathroom was not a problem for 1 night.

We had a stop over here en route from Rotterdam to Pisa. Perfect location for that and Sempach is a lovely town, lively in the evening (Friday) with plenty of good restaurants and a lovely bakery, open at 6am for breakfast. The welcome from Sandra was lovely and warm and she provides everything you could possibly need.

This is a wooden house (that I personally love) that is sreaming when you walking :) not a problem at all)

Apt with amazing view and there is everything that we needed. Kitchen has everything and in bathroom you can even find toothbrushes if you forgot yours. Sandra is an amazing host, so nice, kind and open hearted. She recommended us few restaurants around and places to go.

really liked the shower and the comfy bed, the location is soooo amazing, quiet and beautiful village with communal fruit and Vedgie garden and so close to the lake. spent some time chatting to a local on the jetty whilst he was fishing for perch.

When booking I missed that it was a shared bathroom which I've never done before. It was no problem though as that too was spotless. The host must constantly check everything.

Everything was perfect

The property is located only a few meters from the beautiful lake and is also visible from the room which is so relaxing, you can and will find almost everything that you might need for the stay at Sandra’s. She is an amazing host, and you will feel right at home. Bus stop and restaurants are close and you can easily spend few days in this quaint town. Everything was super clean, would like to come back here again :)

i liked how kind she was, how comfortable the bed was, the facilities — for example the cold blankets, and how clean it all was. the bathroom had all sorts of things that one could forget — toothpaste and toothbrush, towels.

Attention to detail is magical. Sandra has thought of everything for your stay. Slept really good, especially with the magical cooling blankets. Location is lovely and the town beautifuly set. Water at the lake is clear and crisp. Locals and all enjoy a swim.

We had not realised that the bathroom was shared, and it was not very clean anymore by the time it was free. Our neighbours repeatedly woke us up as they walked up and down the old wooden floor and stairs. My husband had such a sore back from the unequal mattress that he had to take medication. Breakfast is not included and there is no tea/coffee available (though you can buy cold drinks and use a shared fridge). We would not stay there again.

Lovely, flexible and reactive host. Excellent situation right next to the old town and the lake. Carefully decorated room with soft linen, towels, etc.
