The facilities are ok, little bit old but comfortable. I love the location, I get in the town late at night but they let my room key in one envelope, that was great, thank you so much, I enjoyed the time with my family, I will come back, 😚😚

There is no breakfast provided as the hotel starts only at 11 or so and only serve lunch and dinner . No basic necessity like shampoo or soap, no hair dryer or even complimentary water. Rooms are not properly checked if doors are properly working or not. And the stairs to go up is very uncomfortable (particularly the spiral staircase on the first floor) esp if there is a lugagge to carry up.

Generally, the hotel view is really nice (if you have booked with a balcony) and the hotel rooms are relatively clean. Staff are accommodating with our request like checking or changing rooms and waited for us on our 1st day despite its late and beyond their working hours which we appreciate it so much.

The lack of follow through with the hotel. We barely got into the room with the key the first night, but could not lock the door when we went to bed. So we slept with an unlocked door. There was no working hair dryer in the room. Stains on the wall above our heads when lying in bed. The bathroom has a large loose tile and two of three lights in there did not work. It’s a dark cave! The shower curtain is too short by a foot. I requested help and the only help I got was them entering our room while we were gone - they locked the door, but fixed nothing. Then we could not enter the room that night - lock not working - we got in, but realized nothing else was fixed. Not a great experience. Never saw an employee of the hotel, just a “friend” who unlocked our door for us that night.

No reception desk. Had to call hotel phone to get someone to find our keys. No front entrance- had to climb a flight of “fire escape” stairs to enter building, then 3 more flights to our floor. Restaurant closed- we were not warned of this. No chairs on our balcony- I had to carry patio chairs from closed restaurant up 3 flights of stairs for our balcony.

No reception and no access to help in any way. You arrive at the reception sign only to realize that the door is locked, with no note telling you where to go. I had to read google reviews which revealed that I had to go to the side of the building and up a spiral staircase to enter the building. There is no clerk at the desk, only an envelope with your key. The hotel states there is a pool and a game room and breakfast available for an additional fee. Well, turns out none of that is true lol. No breakfast since the restaurant doesn't seem to be open although it says otherwise on booking and on Google. Also, no game room, just an empty dark hidden 'lounge' area that seems haunted lol! The only pool I found was the one from the flooding water on my balcony. The balcony I had in my 'deluxe' room had no chairs or table and like I said, was flooding with water after rainfall. Furthermore, the bed frame was broken and sloped in the middle with really thin pillows. And finally, I thought the one good thing about the place was the shower, but quickly noticed that the shower head pole was broken so I had to hold the showerhead to shower - incredibly inconvenient and disappointing. Overall, not a comfortable stay at all and not worth the money, this place was not cheap by any means. Definitely go elsewhere

After reading recent reviews, I was initially concerned of what to expect for our stay. I felt it necessary to leave this review, as our stay was excellent. Check in and out were easy (through the restaurant staff), room was clean and views from the room were 11/10! We requested a waterfall view and it did not disappoint!! It is an older hotel in a small mountain town, so yes, there are some cracks in the walls, etc. that others have complained about, but these did not affect our stay in the slightest (and truthfully are to be expected in most of these older buildings in the area!). Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

No TV and reception was closed throughout our stay.

Location is amazing! And staff was friendly, room was clean and at an excellent price. The only thing was the reception was not open during our stay and it was self check in. Also our room doesn’t have a TV BUT the view from our window made up for it, room 13. Would definitely recommend and stay here again in the future.

have to go through the restaurant for this booking, but the restaurant only open after 1pm (this was not communicated to us at all). other issues included no hairdryer and toilet door was also unable to be locked. overall very disappointed

As it’s basic there were few sockets and not all of them worked. Had to pay extra for linen and towels but we knew of this beforehand. No restaurant or dining facilities but honestly think we were the only guests so that’s understandable. They do have a ‘sister’ hotel we could have used which was a good compromise. The village was quiet but the hotel perfectly met our expectations and a great base for a few days.

The hotel is basic and while previous reviews are accurate, it’s well priced and you get what you pay for. Spacious room, comfy king sized bed. Great shower, loo with a view over the beautiful waterfall. Friendly staff who responded quickly to asks for more pillows etc.
