This hotel is beyond expectation. The owner Lars is super friendly, we have big luggages and two ski bags and he picked us up from train station. It's very easy by bus as well if with little luggages. The hotel is new since last year, everything is lovely and clean and with a design taste. We stayed at the place for three nights and both of us feel was the great part of our 10 day ski trip from Zermatt to Grindelwald. The hotel has a super nice dinner, with options of 3/4/6 courses and we chose the 6 courses and was even surprised that they offered a lot of extra snack courses. I would highly recommend anyone traveling to Grindelwald to stay at this hotel.

Location is good. 4~5 minute walk to First Gondola terminal with plenty car park. Scenery is abolutely best. Bed is super comfortable. Staffs were kind and professional, reception and restaurant both.

The shower in the hotel room is designed for those shorter than 1.60m. It is not possible to find anything to eat after 10 o'clock. Breakfast includes not big choices.

The town center is 7-8 minutes by walk, 2 minutes by bus and the bus stop is right opposite the hotel. Here is clean, reliable and renovated family hotel. There is a sauna and hot pool but it is with extra charge.

Fair bit of distance from the train station. Can’t see much of the sunset view, even with the booking of sunset view room.

Staffs are extremely helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant is great. Hotel’s design is very Scandinavian, which is much to my likings. The bus stop is just right in front of the hotel.

Hotel Fiescherblick is absolutely one of the most beautiful places we have stayed in. The staff are so lovely and helpful. The dinner we had was INSANE!!!! some of the best food I have ever eaten. I highly recommend treating yourself to a lovely dinner.

My only (very minor) recommendations would be to include a hook or two in the bathroom, provide larger bath towels, and include fluffier pillows or just an extra for each guest (ours were nice quality but quite a flat style and there were only one per person - a second pillow would help with the flatness issue). But overall, a marvelous and magical place. Would absolutely recommend staying here.

Amazing hotel. Our room had a huge private terrace and the views were unbelievable. I heard clanging one morning we were there and was delighted to see cows parading through the street right below us! The bus stop is literally right across the street so super convenient. Ideal location as it is super walkable to shops and restaurants but not quite in the noisier heart of it all. The staff was kind and attentive and it was a huge bonus to have laundry available in the basement. The toiletries provided in the room smelled amazing. The restaurant was top notch, we dined there our first night. To end our stay, we got a lovely Swiss chocolate bar as we checked out :)

The showers were in a weird position and overall smaller compared to other hotels we've stayed at.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was very spacious with an amazing view of Eiger and surrounding mountains. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, which makes commute to the train station and the town a breeze. The breakfast was always fresh.

Description on booking.com said room had terrace which is why we drove there specifically because it’s Switzerland and scenic. There was NO terrace nor balcony. It appeared to be the only room in the hotel without one. Staff graciously acknowledged error but hotel was full.

A dinner menu should be posted, with options to choose from. This is a small thing to ask of what is rated an excellent hotel. And it is excellent.

The views from the room are unbeatable. The location is superb. Transportation is at the door. A great hotel.

The only problem was traffic noise (trucks particularly) in the morning. It was warm so we had windows open. I don't think they can do anything about the traffic noise. Also it is a bit of a walk up from the main shops and station.

Breakfast was excellent. The room was lovely, views excellent and staff were great. Evening dinner was world class.

The hotel looks very delicate and the staffs are nice. The landscape in the room is great which makes us relaxed. Breakfast is also delicious.

There was not much variety of choices for breakfast which I think the hotel could make some improvement on.

Location was great as it is only few minutes walk from the cable car station. It is also sitting on the more quiet end of the main street but still in close proxiity to the shops and restaurants. Free carpark is a bonus. The reception was very friendly and was willing to help with ticket purchase and recommending hiking/sightseeing routes. We woke up to a nice clear blue sky and greenery of Grindelwald from the room terrace.
