This hotel is amazing! Our family of five found the suite to be very spacious with a cozy vibe. It’s a quick walk to everything in town, including shopping, restaurants, and the ski lifts, and the amenities are really nice, with a pool, hot tub, and sauna. Free breakfasts are delivered to the suite, which is a luxury. We cannot say enough good things about the staff either. Everyone was very kind and went over and above to make our stay amazing. We definitely recommend it!

The place is in a no-drive zone so you have to park up 5km away and pay for a train shuttle to reach it. they should have this included in the hotel prices instead of an added bill on arrival and late check-in You need to make sure you've eaten or got food with you as everything closes early

it's a spacious apartment and 5 mins from the cable car. beds were comfortable. got a good gym and spa with a jacuzzi and sauna steam and ice room

Let me it this way: When I go back to Zermatt, I will only look at staying at Firefly. If they are booked, I will change my vacation dates. They are that awesome! I don't know where to begin on how great this place is. I selected the hotel based on pictures and location - like proximity to the lifts and the expansiveness of the rooms. But I was a little worried as I have certainly been fooled by websites; this place is even better than it appears. We had the the Garden Suite for our group of six. The suite was very large and sunny and opened out to a nice area to eat outside. The layout was well thought out and we didn't hear people snoring in the other rooms (yes, that is a real problem with our group).Everything was perfectly clean and the rooms seemed to be built with high quality materials. The design is modern rustic (I hope that's not a contradiction) - it fits in with the rest of Zermatt . The staff was exceptional. The bartenders at Bar55 were absolute mixologists - we used the bar as a meeting place and a relaxing zone. The front desk seemed genuinely happy to help and were, indeed, very helpful. It felt like they were proud of the place and they beamed while showing us the room and amenities. Breakfast was brought in to the room on a cart and they set up a table with settings and the food/beverages, so we got to eat at the table in the room as a family, but it felt like a luxury restaurant. The staff also deserves five stars! The gym was flat out shocking in it's size - bigger and better than most hotel chains. There are multiple saunas, as in one with aromas in the steam, another with sea salt and so on. The hot tub had reclining area where you could get fairly horizontal while relaxing. The entire property was immaculately kept. I cannot recommend this property enough. I am 55 and have traveled a lot, and stayed at nice hotels all over the world. This is my favorite place.

The staff were very helpful from the minute we booked until the very end when they arranged for our luggage to meet us later at the station so we could still enjoy some more sightseeing after we checked out. The room was fantastic as well as the breakfast they set up in our room every morning. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and this wonderful place.

I would have preferred a/c and also being closer to the main street.

This place is nice because it is very spacious and clean. It was great having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms after staying in hotel rooms for a few days. This place does have a few drawbacks. There is no a/c so we had to open our windows at night so the noise kept us awake at times. It is also a bit off of the main street. I would recommend paying the money to have a view of the Matterhorn. We did not pay the money and our view was poor. Staff was nice and helpful. Beds and showers were great.

Although it's 10 - 15 minutes away from the train station we weren't aware there was a shuttle service to the hotel until check-out.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating, providing us with a taxi on the day of our check-out. The hotel is around a 10 - 15 minute walk from the train station / highstreet. Breakfast is served via room service and was great. A good selection to choose from for breakfast. The facilities at Firefly were fantastic, a kitchenette within the room allowed us to cook our own meals which kept some costs down. The spa and gym were all great - the swimming pool had a fantastic mountain view and has been maintained to a good level. Views from our room were beautiful from morning until dusk. We would definitely return.

The suite was comfortable and well equipped for our extended family. We were close to the lifts and a quick walk away from the Gornergrat cog train and shops. We were able to walk to the train station for departure on the last day. We enjoyed using the kitchen to make lunch and one dinner, and we loved the breakfast options!!! Kids loved the PS4. The pool and hot tub were awesome, and the game room was fun. Exercise room was also good. Thank you!

Only minor point would be the room temperature could be slight cooler as it was quite warm outside.

The staff was amazing to begin with, check in was smooth and quick, we were alloted rooms prior to checkin time. The Garden suite/ room was beyond expectations and so was the breakfast. The attention to details - baby chairs, pantry and kichnette was spot on. We made lovely memories as a family !! The facilties were great too, we tried the pool, the jacuzzi and the massage. I have to give a shout out to Matilda who accommodated me for a last minute massage appointment. I would highly recommend the hot stone massage.

Everything about this hotel is perfect - from arrival when the staff show you around the spa and your room, during the stay when you are surrounded by luxury, and even on departure when we were unexpectedly offered use of the showers when we returned to pick up our bags after a hike. The rooms are comfy and stylish and even have a spare backpack you can use for adventures, the spa is generously equipped, the bar offers a very wide gin and games selection, and the whole vibe is fun and relaxing.

Everything was perfect. The property was fantastic and the rooms were amazing. We booked a 3 bedroom room for 6 members of our family and it was great. We ended up with the private gondola sauna in our room which was fantastic. But every room looked great, the people at the hotel are so helpful, the bar is perfect, the pool/jacuzzi/sauna are first rate and of course the breakfast in your room, setup when you want it, is great!
