I think this hostel is professionally managed and in great condition but a bit expensive for a dorm bed. In Munich I had my own room in a 3-star hotel for the same price. Of course, Zurich just might be the most expensive city in the world and the value of this very central hostel is difficult to beat compared to the other city options. The 4pm check-in is a little late but you can pay 10 euro to get in earlier. There are lockers but they are small bookbag size and you have to pay extra to use them. Luckily, there are no other extra charges and the city tax is included in the price. The stairs are very narrow and the surprisingly large bathrooms are one and two floors below the 8-bed dorm but overall I enjoyed my stay.

This Hostel has one of the more spacious 8-bed dorm rooms that I've visited in western Europe. I liked the new mattress and the pillow was the best I've seen in a long time (they are usually flat and strained in hostes). The dorm room is on the 4th floor and it has nice wood floors. In fact, just about everything in this hostel looks new. This includes the sheets, towels and comforter. The four sets of bunkbeds have their own power strip and lights and are less noisy than average. The kitchen has a microwave and a fridge as well as free tea. The best part is the rooftop terrace with views of the largest church clockface in Europe. Lastly, the train station is only 10 mins walking from the hostel.

The check in time starts from 4 pm which is really late for my opinion, and also boys and girls share the same room, which can be problem sometime

The room doesnt have a curtain blocking light from the signs from shopping street below, even at night Tight staircase but it's alright because location is in the middle of the old town!

Spring bed. Need to make the bed myself and return the linen. Earliest check-in time is 4 pm. There is no instruction to where the fire escape is (probably from the terrace, which I didn't check out).

Location is not far from bus stop and local attractions. The 3-bed room gives a private vibe with curtain round the bed. Linen is clean. Hair dryer is provided.

they don’t tell you at the beginning that just to get to reception there’s two flights of narrow stairs and another 4 until the top of the building (being only one room per level - you most likely will end up needing to go up a lot)

You have to fix the sheets and covers and take it when you check out. It's maybe the most expensive hostel that I paid, that's cover in cheaper hostels in europe, I think this should be cover also here

Good location and nice Hostel. I was in a 3 person mixed room and it was comfortable, spacious and quiet with only one other person. The kitchen is small but adequate and a nice terrace on the roof. The staff were very helpful and accommodating for my later check in. thank you.

Internet! The lady staff even dont know how to fix it and I did it by myself! Just take note guys if you are booking here and the internet went down, just locate where is the router and hard reboot both of it. Turn it off and wait for 10seconds before turning it on again. Staircase. It is sl steep. But that’s okay if you are a backpacker.

It’s proximity with the Zurich HB, just 15mins walk. It is clean as well

Location is great, everything is very neat and I was aware through the previous reviews about the stairs to get to the room. However what I wasn’t expecting and honestly didn’t find any good reason for it, is the fact that we have to make our own beds. And I mean put the linens on and add the cover to the duvet. I have been to many hostels throughout my life and have never been expected to make it myself, since we are paying for the bed and its commodities. Besides that, it is a nice hostel and the hostess is very friendly
