The restaurant was not open, BUT there is a hotel shuttle bus into town for a fee. Also there is an hotel a short walk away who's restaurant is open from 17th May.

This hotel is beautiful, the views from our balcony were exceptional. The breakfast is amazing and very fresh. The high points got to be the staff. They go above and beyond to make your stay the best they can, especially Simione. A big thank you for making us feel so welcome.

The views from our room were spectacular. Nice size rooms and bathroom. Plenty of closet and drawer space. The breakfast was above average. The decor was in keeping with the Swiss alps and very homey. A little far to walk from the train station but doable with minimal luggage. Lots of parking available.

Many people does not like its location however, we enjoyed a short hike down hill to Grindelwald station and gondola station. It takes only 10min for us. To come back to the hotel, we took a bus 121, the hotel provides a whole family voucher to use even till check out day.

The view from the room is amazing and the room is well equipped, especially we are a family, 4adults and 1 child, the top apartment with kitchen with 2 rooms but has an extra den with singe bed and 2 full bathroom given us enough space to stay.

Everything was lovely

My family stayed for four nights. Unfortunately, I got sick on the first night and was in bed for the three days of our stay. I can tell you the beds were extremely comfortable- even after all that time! The kitchen was perfect when we couldn’t go out. I felt like it was my home by the time we left. If I had to be stuck in a hotel for days- this was the one!

Nothing to complain!

The view of the balcony is stunning! The location is a bit far from the city centre, but it can be reached by bus. The room is quite comfortable and the staff are so helpful. The breakfast is good, especially the croissant and the yogurt!

There was some unpleasant smell when we check in. Informed hotel staff. Housekeeping staff came and cleaned. After that, no more bad smell. The hotel staffs were very responsive.

The view from Duplex apartment was spectacular. Quite pricey but worth of it. Spacious unit and suitable for family. Breakfast was good as well. This would be best choice if you are driving as it is located at uphill. However, public transport available to those get off grindelwald station. Kitchen is fully equipped so you can have your own cooking.

Excellent views of the Eiger from balcony, bus timetable runs like clockwork in Grindelwald which is excellent. The staff st this hotel we're very attentive and nice, I was also able to use the laundry room

The hotel is fantastic; you can view the mountain in front of your room, and it is breathless. The room is comfortable and very spacious compared to the other Grindelwald hotel I was used to. The staff (and restaurant) was friendly and helpful. It might appear a little bit far away from the Grindelwald station or terminal, but that's not an issue since the bus 124 stop close to the other hotel in front of you reaches both destinations in a few minutes. I will be thrilled to return if I have the opportunity again. Thanks a lot
