I didn t like that the swimming pool wasn t available during our stay and on booking there was no info about it. Not only that, but the hotel organized an entry for the swimming pool in another hotel ... that was on the other side of the city !!!! I think it is a shame that we have to pay the full price and then we cannot use the main attraction of the hotel.

I liked the stunning view, the amazing position and the kind staff :) ! The Food in the restaurant was awesome !!

The bedroom/bathroom is due for some refurbishment. Balcony screen hanging off Although rest of hotel was good we don’t feel this reflected 4* in the rooms

The rooms although big and grand, were very very basic. No robes etc. Mini fridge was not stocked and did not work. Although it felt and looked a bit dated it was charming. Breakfast spread was just ok. Also plastic furniture on the balcony could be updated.

The views were amazing. All of the rooms would have incredible views over the lake. The rooms were very spacious and the balconies were lovely. The breakfast was in a gorgeous breakfast room again with great views. The lobby was beautiful. Right in front of the hotel, along the water, there is a long walking path that is wonderful to take to Cheateau Chillon or into the main part of the town. Staff were also helpful in providing tips on how to use the public transit to the train station etc.

The rooms were a bit shabby and the decor was a little old. The hotel is generally in need of an upgrade or renovation.

The rooms had a fantastic view of the lake! Breakfast was great! Location was good; close to the train station and bus lines.

Taps in bathroom sink had been polished down to brass but bathroom had just been painted and new fittings in bath and shower- why leave old taps it's what you first see!

Parking is a sort of nightmare. We went during the Montreux Christmas market. Though I wrote to them weeks in advance asking for a parking reservation, their response should have been more realistic. The afternoon of our arrival we could not get anything and I canceled our dinner reservation and we just drove home to Geneva. They contacted me the following day, in full knowledge of the access situation and offered us a room later in the week. I appreciated this and we took them up on the offer, as our first booking was just lost money. When we came at the second date, we were extremely pleased with the hotel, and the wonderful staff.

We had a balcony with a panoramic, gorgeous view of the lake. We had a two bedroom room and the arrangement was a good one, with no noise between rooms. There was access to the lake promenade. The restaurant was very good.

Room provides 3 free coffee capsuels upon arrival into your room. After they are finished you have to pay 3chf for each additional one... this was the only let down. Would be great to just ne able to have coffee capsules replaced daily

Room was very spacious, we had a junior suite which was great for our family. Lovely and of mountains and gardens outside. Great location, easy access to walk along the lake, or into Montreux. comfortable beds. Lovely room, great pool!

They claimed we ordered additional items and said ‘they saw us’ but it wasn’t us and they didn’t believe it. This hindered our experience as we are honest people.

The room was huge and had beautiful views of the lake. Old style suite and hotel which was nice. Very close to town. Beautiful walkway along the lake or bus if we didn’t want to walk.
