This question is not relevant to my stay. There is nothing I didn't like! The whole experience leaves it difficult to be critical of the hotel, staff, and amenities

The buffet breakfast was exceptional. The hotel is very classy and has an upscale environment. The staff are very helpful. The hotel is beautiful and close to the lake. It is only a few minutes walk to the lake where you can get a boat tour to the villages along the lake. I would definitely stay here again.

the bathroom was to small for me, i.e. the bathtub to take shower was tiny in order to turn etc.

It's not clear which entrance to use and how traffic should flow and we had to go around the block once and then someone else came in the wrong way but the bellman sorted it out and helped her move her car so we could pull in for check in.

Hotel de la Paix exceeded my expectations. It is also a very good value. It has all the benefits of a well-run, Swiss hotel (multi-lingual, polite service, efficient, super clean) and it is also comfortable/luxurious (our balcony was big, room service is available, the restaurant is nice/great breakfast buffet) and the staff are very helpful. I will go back. The location is also very good. You could probably walk to the lakefront - we did not do this but I bet you could. It was too cold to swim, but the pool area is pretty and much nicer than in the online photos. Parking can be a little tricky but the staff helped us.

The Bed was a little hard, we told the Reception and they solved the problem and gave us a Topper which made the bed comfortable. So everything was perfect.

Breakfast Buffet was very good with lots of different variety of food. The room was great with a beautiful view to the Lake and over Paradiso Lugano. The room was clean and nicely decorated. Everything worked within the Room. We felt very comfortable and welcomed by the Staff.

Everything was what we needed.

On arrival, we were upgraded by the friendly receptionist to a suite which was very comfortable with a balcony as well. Relaxing to have extra space as this was around the twentieth accommodation we had stayed in over thirty-five days. The bed most importantly was supremely comfortable. The room was very clean and well maintained. Sufficient power points for all our devices. Warm shower. Complimentary water and soft drinks. One of our main objectives in Lugano was to enjoy the boat trips on the lake. The stop for this was a few minutes’ walk from the hotel with a tasty ice-cream outlet as well if we arrived early. Breakfast was more than sufficient. We ate three evening meals in the dining room. These were well prepared and staff were most attentive.

A very warm welcome from client relations specialist who showed us the facility and our room (upgraded). We got our room just upon arrival without waiting. Provided with bus and train voucher enabling us to travel for free to Locarno or within Lugano (beautiful parcs and architecture). Very varied and nice breakfast and coffee. The hotel has a nice restaurant where we dined for the 2 nights. It was really good and well priced with a wide variety of food and prices. I normally do not eat in hotel restaurants but this one was exceptional compared to the so many tourist traps in Lugano. God food and good service plus a discovery of Swiss wines of quality. In a word "I recommend".
