If we get a list of applicable discounts from the owner in advance, we can save some money. For example, train ticket can be substantially discounted, but we bought one a few days in advance and the discount was then not applicable.

The owner was very kind and friendly, he helped us even with our lagguage and waited for us at the train station despite we came late. He explained us everything important and provided additional tips for the trips and trails. The appartment is equipped as a regular flat - everything what we needed for living, cooking etc was there! A large balcony was very convenient.

Super convenient location—right across the street from the train station in Zermatt center and above a shopping center with a grocery store. We greatly enjoyed the view of the Matterhorn from the balcony and the proximity to the town square where there was folk music and a goat parade every day we were there! Also, much thanks to the very kind host who was available to answer questions both about the apartment and about Zermatt, and provided great recommendations for fun activities! We had an amazing time and would definitely stay again.

The owner Mr. Burgin picked us from the station, guided us to his apartment, which was not even 50 meters from the Zermatt Train Station. The apartment was perfect for a family of 3. The view of the Matterhorn right from the bedroom and the balcony was beyond imagination. The supermarket is right on the ground floor of the apartment building. The kitchen was well equipped. A perfect home away from home!

This property is a real gem! I cannot think of a better location. You just need to cross the main street in front of the train station and you are there in the apartment complex. The complex has several stores including a Laderach chocolate store, a nice Indian restaurant, and the local coop grocery store . The Gornergratbahn station is also right next door. Besides several other eating and drinking joints very close by. All this makes it extremely convenient to stay as you are very close to almost everything. Coming to the apartment, it is extremely clean & comfortable with clear views of the Matterhorn. There is a lift to get you up. The apartment is owned by the hosts who live next door and you can see that it has their personal touch as it feels more like a 'home' than an apartment. The furniture is extremely classy and looks like new even which shows the care that has gone in for the upkeep of the property. The bed in the main bedroom is very comfortable and there also is a cute folding bed in the living room which flows away to become flush with the wall unit which our 10 year old really enjoyed. The kitchen has all the utensils (including a fondue maker), cutlery, dishes etc that one would need to cook a meal and we were never short of anything. Finally what I really remember most about our stay are our hosts. Beat was very kind to come and receive us at the station which was a real surprise! And as we walked to the apartment, he shared all the local information and tips to help us make the most of our time in Zermatt, He showed us all around the house and how to use the TV to get the live weather forecast and webcam feed from all the popular sights in Zermatt. He was also gracious enough to offer his cell phone number or just knock on his door we needed anything. The best part is that Beat and his wife were always available in case we needed anything and were very helpful with tips and advice on Zermatt.

Everything ! The owner Mr and Mrs Burgin were so nice, thoughtful and helpful! I could see Matterhorn right from living and bedroom. House is just opposite train station, very spacious, very clean and well equipped, even pantry was well stocked. Coop is just downstairs, getting everywhere was so convenient. It was really like a home away from home. There are plenty of shelves everywhere, especially in toilet (important!) to place our stuff. Mr Burgin personally received us at train station, and showed us important useful directions. Best stay during my Switzerland trip!

Well...i am coming to Zermat since a very long time and stayed in hotels, chalets, youth hostel and private apartments. This is by far the best value in Zermatt! No doubt about it. Literally next to the gornergratbahn, town center etc. Very nice host for all your needs.
