At day everything is fine but at night location is becoming low life profile. Other guest were really loud and walls are really thin. We didn't feel safe. If you are not with family and looking for place to just for sleeping and nothing more you may choose it otherwise nor recommending.

Rooms were alright but little bit narrow yet clean enough. Location was good close to train station walking distance to city center. There are no reception at hotel but there is a self check in machine which is easy to use but only card to pay, no cash. There are free wifi. At room free basel card were preapered and ready to use which is amazing to have, duration of staying it is free to use the public transportation and some discounts. At entrance there are free coffee and tea.

i’ve stayee here for the 3rd time, and the cleaning ladies in the morning will wake you up! they are extremely loud, in mu case I arrived shortly after 1am and at 8am they were already screaming outside my door… also no heater so a little cold now

Very close to the station, easy to find and easy check in with the machine. Coffee/tea machine in the lobby was nice to have. Room was small but fine for 1/2 nights

They changed my room to a smaller one inside the roof, which I had to take stairs to reach. Really too small and not comfy.

The room smelled of old smoke so I had to keep the window open. The area gets quite noisy early in the morning. The card reader to enter the hotel is unreliable. Still, value for money was ok for me.

The place is ideal to crash for one night - next to the train station and the bus from the airport. There are food and drink options nearby. Our room was clean and the electronic check-in straightforward. The bathroom was small but nicely done. There is free coffee and tea downstairs. Lighting of the room is good.

Could t figure out how to warm the room a little more, it was quite chilly.

Located right next to the station and the bus to the airport which I needed. Automated check in was fine and the room was surprisingly modern and felt good. Free coffee and tea available in the lobby was a good touch. Perfectly comfortable and convenient.

It was a bit confusing finding my room.

Nice and clean room. Very convenient if you have an early flight. First time I used self check-in, but it was easy.

Water pressure for showering is low.

Good location very near to Basel Train Station. Self service check-in motel. Attempt to use the self check in system failed several times and was due to the machines unable to generate receipt/room card. Luckily I arrived in the day as there is still a housekeeping staff available to help. Phew!!!

Brilliant location opposite train station, easy check in process, coffee machine in reception was a nice addition, comfortable beds and clean and compact bathroom. Perfect for one night stay.

after self checking in, which was around 7.45pm (so it was dark outside) I went to look for my room. there’s no instruction to say you have to turn the lights on manually for the stairways or the hallway. I was going up the stairs, in the dark, with all my luggage and it seemed really unsafe. I got to the hallway and that was really dark as well. I couldn’t find my room and ended up going up another flight of stairs, only to find that those were other rooms. I came back down to see if I could find someone, but there’s no staff members there at any point of the day. I eventually found my room, but it’s not straightforward as the receipt said ‘A’ on it and when you look outside all the doors you’ll only find a ’B’. but eventually you realise that’s the hotel logo, not ‘floor B’. Another issue, which stuck out for me, was that there’s only one push button on the door that acts like a lock. the chain lock has been removed for some reason, so it didn’t feel secure enough. other hotels I’ve stayed at always have had 2 or 3 locks on the inside (chain, bolt, turn key).

the location is literally right next to the station. perfect if your arriving late and you just want to get in and rest from the days travelling you’ve just had to do.
