There was a weird buzzing in my room that wouldn’t go away. Otherwise the room was great

There could have been a better variety of juice at breakfast. When we stayed on the Saturday night, it was quite loud on the street, which is to be expected, but be wary if you find it tricky to sleep with noise. When we stayed the Sunday before there was no problem. The twin room was snug but fine for 1 or 2 nights.

The location was great for the railway station, which is what we wanted. Room was probably the smallest on our holiday, but didn't matter for just one night. There was a variety at breakfast and even some additional Easter treats!

Nothing really, the staff were great, it's where we wanted to be and a decent cup of coffee in the morning.

It's very central, 5 minutes walk from the station and 10 minutes from the bridges. It's all you need for a brief stay.

Overpriced for what you get. Generally, Switzerland is expensive but in the other places we stayed, I felt there was more value for money whereas this felt overpriced.

The location was ideal - close to the train station, the lake and lots of restaurants, shops and parks. The room was clean and the bed was comfy and we slept well.

The disabled entrance was overly complicated but the reception staff helpful.

Towels are really worn out and could be replaced. Everything was extremely clean though.

I requested high floor with good view, but got the room on 2nd floor with block view. Understand that it depends on availability, but normally other hotels I stayed could do better than this. The fixed furnitures in the room made it difficult to walk or open even only 1 big luggage. No fridge in the room, so if you buy some food back for tomorrow morning, you need to go down to let receptionist store your food in their central fridge and go back in the morning, wait in the long queue of people checking out before you can get your food. All in all, I expected more from well-known hotel chain like Ibis, but its standard was lower than non-chained hotels I used to stay.

The bed was super comfy & huge. The location is not too far (but not very near) from both train station & bus station.

The location was very handy for train station and waterfront but was also clearly in Geneva's red light district. I'm sure some might find this off-putting. Breakfast was overpriced. I realise Geneva carries a premium but prices for breakfast being double that of Paris for a poorer offering was disappointing.

We are hot sleepers, but the heating was set too high for a mild winter, making it a very uncomfortable and sleepless night - would have loved to be able to turn it off!

There were no balconies and only windows which offer a view on a relatively-busy evening street with restourants and shops

Hotel was close to the main train station and you could reach the lake just down the street. Staff was incredibly nice and welcoming + you get a free travel card for all the public transport during your stay
