The location of this stay was perfect! My partner and I spent most of our trip in Interlaken so our time in Zurich was limited, by staying at this location we were able to see a lot in a short amount of time. I'm someone who enjoys walking through Old Town in different cities, so this worked out well for me. Late check-in was an easy process, we received our room cards through a lock box. Reception helped me locate parking for my rental car (as parking in old town is very limited), I was sent a map link to a parking garage nearby--I believe my walk from the parking garage to the hotel was 5-7 minutes. The room itself was great! The beds were very comfortable and the personal shower/toilet was a plus. I had a water view side and the view was beautiful. With a restaurant below, it got quite loud in the evening/night, which doesn't bother me, but I would suggest bringing ear plugs if it does bother you.

The bathrooms are mostly shared but are very clean and well looked after. My room was quite small and cosy.

The hotel is right on the bank of the Limmat river, in the centre of town and right at a tram stop. The hotel staff are very welcoming and helpful, all of them -and there is a shared space where you can store your food in a fridge and use the microwave, kettle, coffee maker etc. This was very convenient.

Only one (quite cheap seeming/unsupportive) pillow came with the room (you can ask for more but I sadly did not have time to liaise with the staff on that in between work commitments), desk in the room is a bit small if you plan to do a bit of work from the room, and the heating is centrally controlled - I was boiling in the room and could not turn the heating down so had to open the window slightly, which felt wasteful

Great location, quirky establishment with really lovely interiors (particularly the common area). Staff were lovely and very responsive, check in and check out were both very easy, room was a good size, everything was very clean. Nice linen, good sized towels

I knew that bath and toilet was on the floor but the shower on 4. Th floor were I stay was so tiny / no place to put the clothes while showering and no ventilation and then I thought it was strange that my room was not cleaned the 4 nights I stayed there/ not even the basket was emptied.

Sound proof is not the best. Gap around a door. Not very comfortable electrical plugs - closest to the bed is burned off with light switch. But this is minor issues - over all good basic hotel

There was construction right next to the hotel. Nothing that the hotel can do about it, but just to let you know that at least during March, bring earplugs because the work starts early!

The location of this hotel is really good for the price! The rooms, albeit small, are very stylish and clean. This was my second time staying here and I have been satisfied both times.

There was noise from the nearby bars until late, and the curtains did not blind the room well, but with earplugs and an eye mask this can be overcome.

The late check-in was easy to organise, the room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean. Soap, shampoo, shower gel, désinfectant, towels are provided. Close to the train station and to bars and restaurants.

Just 1 shower on Floor 4. This can be challenging for some people. I personally had no issues with this since I was bathing before 6 am in the morning.

Excellent location. Right in the middle of the action and just 5 mins walk from Zurich HB. All key attractions are walking distance. Restaurants and bars are all around the property. Staff on duty is very helpful. Overall property is very quiet and peaceful.
