My room was on the street side and I would therefore recommend taking a room at the back. There is loads of traffic noise at that intersection, so I couldn't really have my window open. The friend with whom I was traveling had a room at the back, and having the window open there seemed very pleasant. There are mini-refrigerators in the rooms, but with bright lights at the front, so you have to unplug them to sleep. That was a bit strange. Also, it turns out that anyone who pays the tourist tax should get the free transportation card. This was not offered when we checked in. I asked for it at the desk the following day and the nice (but only Spanish-speaking) woman at the reception provided them for us.

Lausanne was fun, and the hotel is quite central. If you come by train you can take the metro (M2) right to the 'Ours' stop, and the hotel and its restaurant are right across the street. They don't do breakfast (although there is after all a restaurant) but there's a nice café right across the street.

We were first in a room where the wifi didn't work, the phones didn't charge and the water in the shower plugged up. The owner promptly changed our room, and the new room was good.

Mattress was comfy, the room was clean, quiet at night. The place is well situated, easy to reach town . The employees and owners are very friendly. The food at the restaurant is excellent.

Walking distance from the old town. Budget hotel. If you wish to spontaneously book something cheap then its perfect.

Comfy bed, staff was friendly and helpfull, good location. Quiet at night. There was everything you need, a coffee machine, teas, coffees, and creamers.

I was unable sleep during my stay. Because of the heat, it was very unpleasant. The fan did not cool the room and it was quite awful. I might stay with you again, but not in the summer. I would seriously consider doing something about the summer heat.

Yours is a very pretty hotel. Very charming and in a good location. Most of the staff was excellent.

There’s a busy street in front - that‘s what you get when you’re staying in the city center. No elevator to the third floor and the one there ist doesn’t always work.

Air conditioning would have been nice.

Friendly staff, right perfectly situated right across the metro station. Unfortunately there was no air conditioning despite the very hot weather. Despite that, totally recommend staying here if it isn't too hot.

Good position in the city center. You can move by M2 metro very easily. The daily ticket costs around 9CHF and you can go to zones 11 and 12

We had to wait for some time in the reception because nobody was there, which was frustrating.

It was alright, good location and fine for one night.

The room was really hot during the evening. There was a fan in the room but we had to keep it working the whole evening. No window net so it was complicated to leave the window open.

Amazing mattress, the bed was super comfortable. Water and coffee provided which was really nice.

Nobody was at the reception when we arrived. It was around 4pm. We had to wait for a long time. The staff of the restaurant was also the staff of the hotel. So, when we arrived, they said they are still eating and we need to wait until they are done. I find this odd. If you are sensitive to noise, please bring an earplug as it could get noisy in the evening because the street is just beside the hotel.
