The Booking.com site still says there is a restaurant on site...the nice-looking restaurant now only serves breakfasts and it was difficult getting tables in nearby restaurants. There is no inside staircase, so one needs boots and jackets to go from the room, down through the snow to breakfast.

The breakfast was very good and served by a very nice lady. The room was very clean, and the bed very comfortable. WiFi was good, and a TV of good size.

There was no refrigerator in the room. Since we hiked and were outside in the heat, it would have been nice to keep some cold beverages in a refrigerator. The staff were good at providing ice but I had to run to the front desk each time.

The balcony had a nice view of the mountains, although there wasn't privacy. We were right on top of our neighbors as they were sitting on their balcony. The staff were friendly.

Despite it being last night of the season, and we being the sole guests, the member of staff who attended us was very accommodating and did her best to make our stay good. She also went to a lot of trouble to provide the breakfast, despite there being no other guests.

kindly upgraded us to a junior suite on requesting a bath not a shower. lovely lady providing a good breakfast.

Nice welcome from the owners. Good buffet breakfast. We traveled with our 3 year old, it was family friendly and we had a good room set aside from the owners. The small children's bedroom was silent and darker, away from the noise of the street.

Room 1 access from the outside on an iced stairway is not the best... but manageable. No totally quiet because of the roar of snowcats and other snowmobiles passing from time to time (but usually not before 6am) on the "Altetschpromenade" which is Bettmeralp's main street. No skiroom, your skis will stay outside of the room, and you can take your skiboots inside the room.

very good situation, best view from room number 1, balcony, rather large room, good bedding, wifi OK. real ski to door! Property is run by lovely people, and you can get therapeutic massages if you want. Breakfast is good, you can get eggs too. While climate breakdown hasn't destroyed this, this is about the only place in Switzerland where you have thick snow and not a single car on the streets.

Awesome host. We talked about the hike I wanted to do, and he called the hiking trails office to make sure that that specific trail was open. He also offered to pick me up at the cable car stop upon arrival. Very hospitable! Breakfast was good (coffee, bagles, orange juice), it would have been great to have fresh fruit too.

Wonderful hotel with very friendly, helpful host who eagerly offered hiking suggestions to enjoy the area. Great room with a balcony looking out on gorgeous view. Lovely breakfast with many options.

The room was large, with a balcony and a great view. The bed was super comfortable and everything was clean and convenient. The staff was nice and helpful as well. The breakfast was perfect, tasty and of good quality.
