In our particular room, it could have done with a freshen up lick of paint. The red is quite distasteful. Could well be just that room. Otherwise spacious room and lovely overstay.

LOVED the offer of the spa which was a 20min drive away - BEAUTIFUL!! Bathroom was gorgeous. Room was lovely all in all!

Things here just seemed off. It's quite expensive to stay in Switzerland so I had expected something a bit more up to date with some sparkle. Neither applied to this hotel. It really needs some attention. There were a number of issues, that while not game breakers, made me that I was paying way more than what I was getting. I would not stay here again.

Here, parking space is not a problem at all. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom is spacious. Breakfast choices are good and sufficient.

Besides the hotel was in renovation, breakfast could be improved. It looks like the area where it is served is not cleaned.

The only annoying thing was that some other guests were smoking inside their room so that the fire alarm got off. 🙄😳🙈 and kept some others awake or even worse woke some up 🙄🙈

Iff you book the Executive class of rooms you get a huge room with plenty of space. Fantastic and never seen for this price. Also, check the Asia Fusion kitchen of the hotel Restaurant, interesting menu and very nice.

If I had to say something bad, it would be the fact, that there was no light on the ceiling, which made lighting in the evening quite weird. But thats really all there is to say in terms of negative feedback.

My stay at the hotel was very adequate. The room was tidy, clean and the bed and shower have been spacious. The breakfast was simply amazing, with such a wide range of food and beverage choices, ranging from Muesli and local cheeses to champaign and smoked salmon. The staff was really helpful and friendly and I had no problem sleeping with open windows on a weekend (soundwise).

Hotel is near city center and just a short drive from Gruyere. Many parking places in the parking lot. Very good breakfast with local specialties like cheeses and meringues. Even some gluten free options. Good bathroom.

The breakfast buffet. having to unpack cheese and ham from plastic wrapping. Ecologically speaking, this is a packaging disaster. so much plastic in my table after breakfast was not good for my conscious.

Breakfast was OK, normal for this area. don't expect a big buffet. its self service with no extras, like fried/scrambled eggs and bacon freshly made. on the other hand the restaurant was fantastic in the evening.

My credit card was charged in USD instead of CHF without my consent, thus was charged with an additional fee. I did not notice until later and contacted them. They responded the credit card machine automatically selects the currency. This is not true. The machine always let's you choose (home or local currency) and businesses must let their clients know before charging them. For future guests, if you pay with a foreign credit card at the front desk, PLEASE be sure to tell them which currency you would like to be charged.

Had a room on a high floor so it was very quiet and with a great mountain view. Despite what some other people have said the breakfast was very good quality for the price of the room. The room was very old but functional with a comfortable bed.
