The beds are quite hard, not good for a side sleeper like me. The rooms stay quite lit from outside lights, even though we closed the shutters. But there's no curtains that make the room dark.

The hotel is located right in the heart of the city. The rooms have charm and have been freshly redecorated - or so it looks like. The rooms are small but it's ok for a night or two. Bathroom is small as well and clean, nice shower. The breakfast that you can get for CHF 10.- is good value for money.

For us, the only negative thing was that the hotel didn't have a lift. The family room was located on the third floor, so going up and down with a baby was slightly inconvenient.

The hotel was situated in the center of Bulle. The parking space was very near and everything was accessible by foot. Going to Gruyere and the other touristic places around was very easy. The room was clean and comfortable . The staff were very polite and always willing to help. Breakfast was OK. We also tried the food at the restaurant and it was really good. Highly recommended.

There was a lot of noise and music coming from the street - so it was hard to fall asleep as it didn't stop until well after 11pm on the Friday night. Saturday night was better - just note that voices in the alley carry quite loudly. Maybe have earplugs handy if you're a light sleeper.

Location is excellent. Only a few minutes' walk from the Bulle train station/bus depot. Easy to find. Check in was smooth. The room was comfortable and warm, with basic facilities for our stay. Good place for a short weekend getaway with nice decor and cozy furniture. The connection to Charmey allowed us to visit the Desalpes parade on Saturday morning and was a nice base from which to do some gift and holiday shopping in Bulle. Nearby to restaurants, the older section of town, and walks/hikes into Gruyeres.

The bread slices in the restaurant were dried on one side (at dinner and at breakfast). Breakfast was rather simple.

The dinner at the hotel was excellent, beautifully presented, fresh & delicious. The room was very nice & clean but unfortunately the weather was very warm so it was a bit uncomfortably hot with no air conditioning. The ceiling fan was essential. The bed was extremely comfortable.

Our room was at the street side and we could here the people partying on the street. (We stayed on a Friday). We could also hear and feel the entrance door slamming.

Everything else was perfect! The design is really nice, the ves is super comfortable, the staff is super friendly and the hotel in right in the centre of Bulle.

Despite the hotel and room design being amazing, we didn’t like how thin the wall of the bathroom was, which allowed for very limited privacy of the bathroom user, since everything could be heard from outside (within) the room.
