What a gem of a hotel in a beautiful location and with very friendly and kind staff. Our room, though a little small, had everything we needed and a gorgeous view over a little square with a fountain. Definitely will be back

Gorgeous historical building in the heart of Geneva old town... expect centuries-old painted ceilings with wonderfully comfortable modern furniture and fittings. Considering it's approximately 100 metres from the Cathedral, it is incredibly quiet. Very welcoming and helpful staff at reception and in the breakfast room, happy to let me practice my schoolgirl French. I was last here about 14 years ago and am very glad I came back!

The hotel is close to main tourist attractions (cathedral, Maison Tavel, Musée des Beaux Arts, Grand Theatre, Victoria Hall, ...). It is more or less in pedestrian zone, so very quite. And 5 minutes from main shopping street. One of the best fondue restaurant is also there :)

Nothing except perhaps the complicated high tech light switch system in the bedrooms, which we did not manage to get the hang of on our short stay!

The hotel is up the street which means you need to walk up a hill to reach it which can be difficult if you’re coming back from shopping however, by car should be fine.

This is probably the third time I stay at this beautiful hotel. Located in the beautiful old town of Geneva, walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shops. Always a pleasure staying here, very friendly staff and welcoming. The whole hotel is located in a historic building with lovely rooms and wooden beams on the ceiling. We had dinner at the restaurant also for the first time, food was really good, staff super friendly also. I highly recommend having the Chocolate Mouse for dessert. During our checkout early morning at 6am, the staff made a really nice gesture of preparing us a small breakfast and coffee for our long drive to the South of France. I forgot about the lovely upgrade during my check in. I can keep going on about this beautiful hotel. Highly recommend staying here when in Geneva.

Just the uphill hike to the hotel. it was worth it though beautiful part of Geneva when traveling with little ones it can be challenging

The in dining was very delicious, the best creme brûlée I had so far. A big thank you to all the staff and specially Mr. Marc the Director General for going above and beyond you definitely made our stay a memorable one.

The room is very nicely furnished. Good size and I liked the wooden details. The bed was extremely comfortable. Great location with a short walk to the lake and the plaza with restaurants and bars. Didn't get to eat at the hotel restaurant but it was very busy and the food smelt delicious. The breakfast was great! The breakfast room is a little small and can feel crowded when lots of guests are there at the same time as the buffet set up is quite small. However, the presentation was great and the scrambled eggs were right on point.

We stayed at the hotel about 29 years ago, and loved it. This years room was smaller, but more elegant. The breakfast was lovely. I would have tried more dishes, but we were in a rush to make an international flight.
