The sauna was broken our whole stay and that was disappointing. Also, the construction right outside of our window was extremely loud and started very early. They provided ear plugs, but that didn't really help.

This hotel was in a great location and walkable from the train station. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very spacious, clean and updated. It was so nice to have the robes and slippers to wear down to the steam room and sauna. It made for a relaxing end of the day.

Restaurant dishes took no risk, good but very standard for such a vibrant lively hotel.

Classic yet with a trendy vibe, upscale but not stuffy. Fantastic stay, the bar is clearly the place in town to be.

We stayed for four nights..It can get noisy at nights with party-goers walking and talking v loudly along the street Also, there is no place for our transfer limo (from airport) to drop us off at the door of the hotel. We had to lug our luggages to the hotel entrance on our own. That was a big minus for me

The reception team were all very helpful and friendly. The housekeeper did a great job and always with a smiling face. Perfect location to catch your tram. A lovely place for sure

The breakfast could be better and the timetable should be extended up to 10:30 on the week days.

The location is excellent in the spite of the fact that the hotel has no garage. There is a public parking in the proximity , but is not too large and very crowded.

The only problem we encountered was the room was rather to warm. But we didn’t call down to ask if we were using thermostat correctly which was our fault.

The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to do everything they could to make your stay a memorable one. The sauna was a nice added touch since we were there visiting Christmas markets and the weather was chilly.

Everything was good but if you had hip or knee problems, one must climb stairs to reception and in the room.

The hotel was in the perfect location to attend the Christmas Market. The room was very large and super clean. Large shower with heated floor and good lighting. The hotel had an Art Deco vibe and the restaurant was beautiful with a very good breakfast buffet. Lots of choices. The staff went out of their way to help and answer questions and we were able to leave our bags after check out, so we could continue to sightsee and use the free transport ticket. Tram stop was just across the street.

We were on the first floor and could hear the trams going passed the hotel.

The location of the hotel was fantastic. The centre of Basel was right on the doorstep. The room was very nice with beautiful bedding and a comfortable bed. Lunch and breakfast were excellent with plenty of choice.

Beautiful design and ambiance of the rooms and the building in general. The service was friendly, helpful and very professional. The breakfast was superb with a wide range of selections. The staff in the restaurant were super helpful and accommodated special requests. Ideal location that is very central in Basel.
