You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

BelgiumA bit murky smell in the corridor. Not noticeable in the room though. The carpet in the room could do with replacing.
Big room. Very comfy beds (new from last year) and pillows. Fresh bathroom. Very good Breakfast. Good price for Switzerland. Good location since we want to stay in Zuchwil. 15 minutes walk to Solothurn along the river. Lots of free parking. 2 restaurants, Italian and Mexican. We tried the Mexican and that was good.

DenmarkI am tall and the bed was a bit short, if you are over 190 cm high it could be on the short side. The breakfast is served next to a smoking section. The separation is typical Swiss with a wall and a door, I would recommend to also add suction.
Centrally placed in Zuchwil, close to the industrial area and the highway. The breakfast was good traditional Swiss, bread with chess, jam, meat etc. The room was large for a hotel with a bed, a small desk and a bed.

SwitzerlandThe Single Room Bathroom was a little tight to move around. Toilet Roll was positioned (in my opinion) on the wrong wall. Exceptionally warm despite fan but was there during heat wave. As a Senior Citizen on sticks it was difficult to reach my room and/or Rerception as had to walk up/down one flight of stairs.
Attention to Needs - Friendliness and The Service of EVERYONE was exceptional. Qualiaty and range of food exceptional - of top qualiaty and reasoanably priced. Excellent designed restaurant(s) both inside and out and although on a main road outside table noise was minimal as were surrounded by bushes and trees. Design of the Mexican Restaurant Curaracha was unique and the food immaculate. Strongly recommend a visit. Double Room was exceptionally large and superbly furnished. Also had an extra large TV Screen. Would recommend anyone and everyone to stay at The Martinshof Hotel for both comfort and quality
