No plug sockets by the bed (although they did provide an extension cable), the pillows weren't comfortable.

Amazing view of the Matterhorn from our room. It was so special that we got engaged on the balcony! The location was just perfect, right next to the best ski lift! Loved the fire and breakfast choices. The staff really made our stay special, loved the surprises for our birthdays. The boot room was great for storing everything too!

The breakfast did not meet our standards. You could offer a bit more variety when it came to eggs, salads/vegetables and sweets. For example, there was only tomatoes and cucumbers packed in glass pots (which we found a bit pointless). Croissants were good but not enough for those who have a sweet tooth in the morning. Quality was a bit of an issue too (e.g. the eggs were inedible - either not boiled at all or cooked to death). There was also no change at all in the buffet - we ate exactly the same things every day. In terms of comfort, we would have liked to have the option to have dinner at the hotel after spending all day skiing on the slopes. Our room was constantly too hot and we did not manage to solve the issue even after raised with the reception. There were nights we had to sleep with the window open to cool down the temperature. We were also surprised to find scratches and holes on the walls of our room - this was not really in line with the price we paid and overall quality of the hotel.

Hotel staff were super friendly and helpful with everything we asked for. They even offered me a cream to sooth pain from skiing. The spa area was really nice and well-maintained. Matterhorn view from the room was amazing.

The pool/hot tub water could have been warmer. It was a bit too cool to be outside on the colder days. The ski room was a bit cramped.

The room was a very good size and did not feel cramped even for a weeks stay. The shower was one of the better ones we have had in a hotel room. The view was amazing as the room had an unobstructed view of the Matterhorn. The staff were very friendly and personable. The breakfast was quite nice.

The hotel doesn’t serve dinner and sometimes after all day of skiing and sauna, you just simply want to stay in and have a meal at your hotel.

I loved the design and location of the hotel. The lounge area with a modern fireplace made you want to be there all the time when not skiing ;) The rooms are greatly designed as well. It’s all about the details there. The staff has been very nice and always helpful, those guys made our stay even more enjoyable! And the fact that when you leave the hotel and gondola is just right in front of you makes it so convenient and time efficient when you go skiing.

I was only staying the one night so I got the cheapest room on Booking.com. The room was clean and okay but NO WINDOWS what so ever. Only a skylight so the room felt like a dungeon. Again, I was only here for the one night but when I come back I will request that my room has a view or else I will just go else where. The hotel is located at a point where the views are spectacular so having a room without was the biggest let down. Also, the location is great for those who strictly want to ski but I will warn you that it is a bit of a trek to walk to town for dinner or drinks and even the train station (However, they do have transportation to and from the train station. Just have to advise them ahead of time).

I really liked this hotel and it may be my Hotel of choice when I return to Zermatt again. The atmosphere and vibe where new and refreshing. The breakfast was good and their self-services spa was AMAZING. I really enjoyed it and was able to relax and unwind. The staff were execellent. The biggest Seller for me was LOCATION. You are literally right next to the Gondola that will take you up the mountian(s) so if you are here for skiing, hike and getting up to the mountain peak this place is for you. Very much recommend it.

Would prefer if it was an adults only hotel but I understand that families want to stay here too. It’s not as relaxing in the spa and pool when kids are yelling and splashing around.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Focus and it keeps getting better and better. They treat you like family and have an incredibly high level of service. Stayed in the Dom suite and the architecture was stunning and the views of the Matterhorn jaw dropping.

Everything was excellent….we battled with a variety of pillow but they have an option for everyone.

- We chose one of the rooms with a balcony overlooking the Matterhorn and I guarantee it was worth every Penny. The weather didn’t always work in our favour but we wouldn’t have changed a think. - The hotel go to make your stay memorable from the moment you arrive including pick up from the train station.

A perfect stay in Zermatt made possible by everyone and everything in FOCUS. Ms. Tamara who welcomed us in the frontdesk was exceptional. The shuttle chauffeur was very helpful, free shuttle ride from check in to check out. You could tell that the builders and designers took their time building this masterpiece. They even surprised me for my bday with some decors. The breakfast had a lot of variety especially for us meat lovers. Checking out was pleasant with the lady staff. We love the spa (especially the steamer) and the pool. The weather is perfect. The tunnel is cool as if you're in a james bond movie. You have to stay at the suite we stayed at atleast once in your life. Surely we'll return, and many more of our friends and families since they love the pics and videos of this hotel we sent them. Thank you FOCUS. We were so inspired by everything. Now we know how dreamy Zermatt is.

Location - at the end of Zermatt. Next to the mountain lifts - you have a horrible tower in the middle of the Matterhorn view. ( website photos did a great job hiding it ) No on-site restaurant - after a long day hiking an on-site restaurant would’ve been nice, since each taxi trip to Zermatt was 20.- francs and logistically tiring No dogs allowed

Beautiful room ( suite 50 ) Great service all around - they prepared breakfast for us at 5am since my partner had a race on the day, even if official breakfast time started at 7am. Baby services - baby bed and robe Nice spa and breakfast
