The location was amazing. Exceptional views of the Matterhorn. It was a short distance from the train station as well. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were and had wonderful views. The breakfast was delicious.

We didn't like having to go home!

This is one of the best hotels we have had the pleasure of staying in. We were expecting high standards being in Switzerland and we were not disappointed in any way, in fact the standards exceeded expectations. The first impressions were so good, the hotel oozes warmth and welcome and the host greeted us within moments of arrival and made us feel very welcome, like a family would. We were encouraged to contact reception for anything that we needed or wasn't as we would like.... we never needed to make a call. The interior decor was perfectly balanced for the location and everything was spotlessly clean. The room was warm, bed comfortable, and bathroom beautiful - we even had the most amazing view of the Matterhorn!. The quality flowed everywhere with Villeroy & Boch products clearly very popular. Breakfast was a repeat of all the above, excellent choice, excellent setting, and excellent service. Finally, on the note of overall service, we really cannot say a bad word about any member of staff. They work like one big happy family, it was such a pleasure to watch, and be looked after by a happy, competent and confident team.

Excellent family run hotel in the heart of Zermatt. The staff was friendly, helpful, and always available. The spa was sparkling clean and a great way to relax after skiing. The breakfast was delicious.

The bed was very hard, only one large pillow which was also hard, there was also no mini bar fridge in the room to store drinks or snack.

Staff were great very friendly, picked us up from the train station. Walking distance to everything. They offer a quick turnaround laundry service. We went to see some heat sights and relax and this is what we did. The views are amazing

No, coz I've loved EVERYTHNIG and ANYTHING, I love Zermatt and Matterhorn Lodge Hotel, its staff and food in a morning and so on and so on, Please consider my rating 100 out of 100 points per item. This hotel deserve the TOP RATING as the staff as well as their support and assistance is just OUT OF THE MOON, totally PRO and superior place like this deserve a AWARD!!!

The hotel is the perfect location! Just off of the main strip. 15 minute walk to the gondolas. Two minute walk to the most chill bar in Zermatt too!!!

The atmosphere here was lovely and in keeping with the alpine surroundings. I was greeted on arrival by the friendly owners. I was the only one staying that night but they were so accommodating and even offered to do the breakfast for me the next morning, as well as doing my laundry. Everything was great in the room, very modern, cosy and spacious. The view of the Matterhorn was a highlight for me, so magical. 10/10 definitely recommend.
