How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Not much - less toiletries such as shampoo than I expected. Nothing important
Hotel Münsterhof and the chalets accompanying are SO comfortable, in a wonderful setting in a beautiful valley and the Meyer family looked after me impeccably. Definitely, this is a hidden gem!

It is a friendly family run hotel, and we were treated with courtesy and given excellent tips for excursions. The breakfast was excellent and nicely presented. The room with en suite bathroom was comfortable with everything we needed. Our little dog was welcome and the hotel provided free parking.

The only one thing I don’t like is the checkout time at 10.
It’s a nice place and very clean. The room was well designed and renovated. It’s close to the Convent of Mustair.

I'm not a fan of wall-mounted hairdryers. They are usually too weak. As it was Summer, this was okay for this time.
The modernized historic interior of the hotel is very charming and authentic. I loved the little stories spread throughout the hotel. The room was comfortable and the atmosphere was very nice and quiet. I also liked the many home-made components at breakfast. Thumbs up for that!

No evening mean but local restaurants were only200m away.
The hotel was superbly decorated, the bedrooms were large and airy. Three restaurants locally, not cheap but the quality of the food and the service were great. There were 6 of us touring on motorcycles and an early start with the Umbrail Pass (which links to the Stelvio Pass) being a couple of miles away in the next village meant we had the roads to ourselves before tour buses, motor homes and other motorcycles crowded Stelvio.

This property has been recently and extensively renovated, it is lovely and clean inside and out and under family ownership with people who really care.

The room is a bit small, but with the balcony added we had sufficient space.
Very comfortable hotel in the old centre of Müstair, not far from the medieval abbey. Rustic and at the same time modern interior. Very good beds. Delicious breakfast with regional products. We had a room with balcony and great mountain views.

bathroom was very small and with no window - of course, it is an ancient building and bathroom had to be built-in at a later moment. Still, it is a bit small and not extremely confortable - it might want renovating at least the sink facility (water power, surfaces available, faucets). It is a pity because the room was otherwise amazing: the bathroom is alas a bit not in line with the rest of the room! Also worth noting, and mainly due to the bathroom issue, my feedback is that price is not cheap. It might be average for the country, but benchmarking this price with similar facilities in similar places, this one is a little on the higher side.
Superb room. Cozy and warm and spotless clean - you know, one of those rooms in which you feel at home and at ease right as you walk in. Nice communal faciliites, good breakfast choice, easy pariking facility.

The creaky plastic box containing the shower and WC were more in the style of the French cut-price Hotel Formule 1 chain. I was not expecting this in a Swiss hotel at CHF 178 per night. The bottle of water in the room was not complementary. You will be asked to pay for it.
The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. We slept well. Breakfast was good. Staff were efficient.
