Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Rooms were renovated and very quiet. Its balcony has lovely views of the mountain. The front desk lady Sabina was very kind and patient, helped getting our rooms close to each other. They gave us a lot of information of places of interest especially walking trails.

It's just 15 mins walking distance from gondola ride station. Matterhorn peak is just infront of you if u r in view room. Overall it's very very satisfying stay.

SwedenWe are used to living in the cold climate, so we were not very comfortable under heavy blankets, but we never bothered asking about their replacement with lightweight variants. I am pretty sure if we had done it, we would've gotten a proper replacement.
Almost everything was exceptional. We were initially welcomed by Andrea, who provided all details about our stay and then helped with ongoing questions we had. The room had a perfect view and very very clean initially and during the whole our stay (we sort of have a very high bar of expectations). We got a discount for ski rentals from the hotel and the location cannot be closer to a ski lift. Every day we enjoyed fabulous breakfast and the last night we had a dinner in the hotel restraint which was exceeding our expectations: the service was at the high level as well as food was delicious. In addition I wanted to mention the spa area, it gave us the proper relief after the whole day skiing. Having checked out we were delivered in minutes to the train station with the electric car. Finally I happened to forget my id card in the room, but it was kindly found and I got a call from the hotel. Andrea organised its sending to my home address, and I am really grateful for that.

Hotel National Zermatt is the ideal family hotel for skiing in Zermatt. The location is perfect - right across the street from the Sunegga lift and two doors down from a great ski rental shop! The staff are friendly and professional and did an absolutely fabulous job of making us feel welcome. The hotel website does not do justice to the spa - a main pool, hot tub, and indoor baby pool, along with steam room, sauna, etc are fantastic. After a day of skiing, the spa area was perfect for our family - my husband and I enjoyed it, as did our infant and toddler. Breakfast is five stars! Hotel National has all of the luxuries and comforts a discerning traveler wants, but it's also a down to earth, family friendly place. If we return to Zermatt, we'd love to stay here again! Exceptionally clean - the staff keep everything in good order and are very responsive to guests' needs.

The hotel was very kid friendly, the staff was excellent, the breakfast was amazing, the room was comfortable, the beds were awesome, the pool and spa were great for us, the location was ideal. The kids loved the net loft in our family room. We had a view of the Matterhorn, and a balcony.

National has a superb location right in front of Sunnega lift. Hotel stuff was very friendly and attentive. Rooms were of a very decent size. Breakfast was superb. Internet connection in the room was also great.
