A cozy little place on a quiet street of a nice town. At the beginning of November, the heating was on, making the interior very warm. A very friendly staff and an exceptional breakfast. Free parking is available nearby with plenty of slots.

The stairs to our room, which was on the first floor was a bit steep. There was a slight mix up on arrival and the hotel was closed until 3pm. We had been told, but maybe it would be good to remind visitors.

Someo is an extremely beautiful village, and there is great walking available, The hotel was very good. The room was spacious (we had the quadruple room). The breakfast was excellent as was the dinner when we had it. The host was very efficient and helpful. The hotel is a converted old building and full of charm.

This is a wonderful B&B in the heart of the most beautiful surroundings imaginable. After a two week trip in Europe, our two nights here were our favorite! The breakfast was amazing and the host could not have been more wonderful. The views from the rooms were gorgeous and there is easy access to amazing waterfalls, mountains and trails. We can’t wait to return!

It is always a pleasure to stay at Don Jon. My favourite place to stay in Ticino. Where to start? Always a friendly welcome from the guy at reception, an excellent sizable breakfast, a beautiful and quiet location in the middle of nature, the lovely garden with its kiwi trees growing over your head and the view on the mountains, the delicious food (highly recommend both the gnocchi and the risotto, both incredibly delicious and mean that you don't even have to travel far for excellent local Ticinese dishes. The Ticinese wine speaks for itself, you cannot go wrong with the Merlot, both red and white, perfection), the friendly and charming waitress (portuguese), big comfy room with nice balcony view onto mountains, will keep coming back, certo! Grazie, Don Jon!

Cannot think of anything. Really is a great little place to stay. Not big at all. Breakfast is amazing.

Staff very friendly and helped us out with everything we needed. Including translating to english! Quaint place that feels like a home. Very well situated in town. Excellent restaurant as well.

Breakfast was very good. Dinner across the street was exceptional. The mushroom risotto, minestrone soup and vitello tonnato were exceptional. The BB has a small quaint garden in the back. Wi-fi excellent. The couple that manage the B&B are very friendly and helpful. The room included free Netflix on TV and a tower fan. It has been an exceptionally warm summer and the fan was a necessary addition in the room. Great area for hiking and for cycling. Free street parking was not a problem. Locarno and Ascona about a 20 minute drive.

It’s a very old building, so expect steps. it is very well maintained. The rooms are well appointed and the bathrooms have been recently remodeled.

The location is stunning, the staff for exceptional, very clean, and the breakfast was one of the best we had on our trip! Dinner at the restaurant was phenomenal.

Very rustic location, nice and helpful personnel, despite the rustic atmosphere, the room and bathroom were modern and decorated with good taste. The location was perfect - between the valley, alps and Locarno. The restaurant at hotel was perhaps the best of what we visited at our Swiss tour.
