Corridors unstairs had a bit of an unpleasant smell about them which I note had been mentioned before in other reviews

Location was superb, rooms were excellent with great view. staff very helpful and even thought it was not fully manned due to out of season this was reflected in the rate paid . complimentary bar was provided - happy days !

It’s like a sleep in. The rooms are nice but the place hasn’t been renovated. Don’t expect room service or a restaurant in the premises. After 6pm no one there to assist with anything.

Alice the receptionist was excellent. Nothing was too much for her. She took care of our bags, booked a restaurant for dinner, gave us chocolate and a birthday card for my husband. She was courteous and very helpful.

The room was small with little light. The bar in the room had to alcohol and no snacks. The bar in the hotel was self service with a very limited choice. The restaurant is closed in the winter and there is no way to have an omelette or scrambled eggs for breakfast, just boiled eggs that you need to prepare yourself.

The location in the middle of the beautiful "Parc des Eaux-vives" is unique. It is like a quiet oasis in the busy town of Geneva. The lake view is exceptional. It is a charming old historic builing. The bathrooms are very modern and very well equipped.

the park is open to the public so you might want to be a little careful at night time

Not a thing we didn't like.

What an incredible place. We walked up through the peaceful, safe feeling park from the ferry landing. Once we arrived we almost thought we were at the wrong place-- too good to be true? No, it's true. It's a beautiful building and an impressive establishment, inside and out. We even had a surprise upgrade to a suite. We couldn't have been happier with everything: the space, cleanliness, comfort, attention to detail, extras in the room, professional staff (especially at reception), restaurant, (dinner on the terrace, and a really great breakfast spread). We felt like royalty. We wanted to stay longer. Will definitely stay again. Easy walking to the waterfront and historic district.

Lacked public spaces for the hotel guests to use.

Great location for visiting Geneva. Lovely view of park and lake from the terrace restaurant. Plenty of free parking. Good selection of breakfast offerings.

The rooms are small and the AC is not ACing

The AC is not working at all while the weather was extremely hot and you have to keep the windows open which allows the insects to enter the room all night long. The hotel staff were not able to solve the problem and ignored my request. The breakfast was nothing, just 4-5 items and hardly refilled. Very expensive in terms of a facility to stay in

Dislike is too strong, but the breakfast was very simple and all cold except for the drink. I would have liked toast or an egg on a couple of days.

Very nice location in an old park. Cosy room, well heated and significantly larger than the Swiss average. Very friendly staff.
