Unfortunately there were loud parties and smoking in the room beside me until the early hours which made getting rest difficult. The smoke got into my room which wasn't much fun either. It was the ski season and i looked carefully at the hotel policies after the first night, admittedly there is nothing explicit written there saying "no parties", perhaps this is normal in the ski season and i was naive to expect to get rest? I complained to staff (over messaging because of language issues) and received a response but the noise continued of an evening, though at least it stopped at midnight after that. I am not clear about parties and smoking during the ski season, but perhaps it is something to be aware of.

The price was great and the location excellent for a stay in the mountains. As a budget hotel in Switzerland it is quite normal to share a bathroom (this is also clearly stated in the booking, so i dont understand the reviews which complain about this). The room is tidy and has everything one needs, even a balcony! And breakfast is generous.

It was very hot inside rooms during hot days, most of electric sockets were deactivated do it was difficult to charge all phones in the night. It was required to book another room for children despite the fact that another double bed was prepared in the room but not available on booking. The hotel require refurbishment in my opinion

Shared bathroom on 1st night was locked after 8pm I'm guessing someone was in there all night. So had to use the lower floors bathroom. On second night was unlocked all night though.

Compared to other restaurants in the immediate area, we felt that there were more enticing alternatives.

The location was very convenient, with plenty of free parking and a very short walk away from several restaurants and cafés. The rooms were spacious, bright, clean and comfortable, with good ventilation. Our host was very welcoming and friendly.

Booking didn't offer 4-bed room for my family even if it was big enough. I have booked 2 rooms unnecessarily. I recommend to check with the hotel directly before the booking. The facility is outdated.
