Nothing at all. Though its good to mention for the benefit of other tourists and travelers that while there is a bus stop really close by, the frequency of that bus line is not that often. Almost every hour and after 5/6 pm that line is not functional. However, there is another location named Aeschi Post, just a 10-12 minute walk away and that bus line is operational well into the night and is more frequent.

Beatrice and Theo were amazing hosts. Very prompt with their help and support and very warm in their hospitality. My partner and I already miss the place and our morning interactions with them over breakfast. The breakfast was amazing. Although it was the same menu for all days with variations in the fruits, jam and juice, my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Theo's egg cooking skills are really commendable. The accommodation is in a very residential and local area a little away from Spiez but the people there are very friendly and welcoming of tourists. They also spoke English quite well so communication was not much of a challenge.

The location is excellent, in the beautiful village of Aeschi, just a short journey from Interlaken. Our room was big and spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We also had a balcony, so had an amazing view of the alps and the surrounding areas. The breakfasts were delicious and freshly prepared and just what we needed to start the day. Thanks to Theo and Beatrice for being so welcoming and helping us with planning our time in Aeschi.

The bathroom was very narrow, and I had never seen a smaller wash basin design.

Very good breakfast, clean rooms, friendly and helpful personnel. The beds were excellent, and we could sleep very well despite the hot weather. WiFi connection was also very good.

The location of Hotel Sunnmatt is just amazing, a short car / bus ride from Spiez and the lake, but high enough up to enjoy alpine meadows with glimpses of the high mountains. The owners, Theo and his wife, are lovely. The hotel is simply furnished, breakfast is continental style, but perfectly adequate. Aeschi is a lovely little village with the basic amenities you need, supermarket, restaurant / bar, bakery, bank.

The kindness of the hosts, their willing to help, the attention of Theodor and his responsiveness to our needs even before we expressed them, the excellent breakfasts, the view from the windows, the comfortable and spotless room. The dinner we had there was so good, we were sorry for dining in Interlake the night before 😄
