Great combo of hotel and restaurant. The room on the basic side, without unnecessary perks but with super comfortable mattress. The price includes breakfast which is far from complete. Moreover, the restaurant is also an option for delicious home made dinner. Owners friendly and attentive.

The nice owners of Hotel Rossli were very kind and really made us feel at home. The food is homemade and fresh from the kitchen made by the owner herself. It was truly a great stay where we slept like a rose. It was clean and easy to reach by car. Oh man, I will definitely come back when visiting the Brienz area in Switzerland.

We didnt have any issues as such but note that there is no reception as such. It felt more like a large family house with several bedrooms. So if you are looking for a regular hotel with full time reception staff etc you might be disappointed. However the communication with hosts was excellent via phone, booking.com message chat with instant replies.

The only thing I would recommend is having more fans available. I would expect most places in Switzerland not to have AC because of the cooler weather, however one day it did get pretty warm so it didn't cool down in the evening until very late. So it was just hard for us to fall asleep in the warmer temperatures.

This property was cute, quaint, and perfect for our for a little family. The breakfast was delicious and the host were very sweet.

There is an hourly train to and from Interlaken, which is a bit limiting if you do not drive.

The lake view was absolutely superb. Each morning we enjoyed breakfast on the balcony and admired the surreal lake views. The air was so fresh and the location was calm and good for a retreat from the noise of the city.

First of all the owners of the hotel are so kind and very helpful. Although the hotel is not a 5 star hotel the service is excellent. The hotel is normally a kind of traditional building so you can feel the warmness on the soul. It was a great chance to enjoy the view of Brienze lake every morning and evening. The breakfast especially the coffee served in the breakfast is wonderfull. The owners clean the rooms everyday. Therefore there is no hesitation on hygine. The location is perfect 3 minutes to the station. We didnot need to drive for 5 days and went everywhere by public transportation.

Creaking floors from upstairs guests, there is a short flight of stairs but no lift, not the best pillows but those are minor points- i'd happily stay there again and recommend it

The hosts are friendly, welcoming and always there to help. The view from the balcony room is amazing- postcard quality. Good breakfast, free coffee and water bottles. Cosy accommodation. Parking for those who drive and nearby public transport. Overall a great place to unwind and relax -by far the best place in Switzerland that i've stayed🙂

No real negatives at this place. the only point of improvement would be that the bedside tables had some dust, but it wasn't really a big issue for us.

The hotel location is amazing, a two minutes walk from the Brienze lakeshore. We had taken a 4-person room, and our room had an amazing view of the lake and the Alps, and we were mesmerized by the scenery. The rooms were cozy and comfortable. The couple that run this place are extremely friendly and we even met a few locals at their restaurant who were also able to suggest places for us to visit for hikes/photos. The complementary breakfast, while simple, was filling. Overall, would definitely recommend staying here.
