Wonderful premises. A grand royal in the dining room, a piano in the bar and an electronic piano in the foyer. My kids loved it.

The reception are could be updated and a bit classier to match the old grandeur of the hotel. No coffee maker in room, nor coffee or tea self service, outside of breakfast time.

The room could have been more comfortable, honestly! Felt quite bare bones. A rug or some slippers would have gone a long way to making it more snug. Also it's a classic old hotel so be prepared for (very) creaky floors and thin walls.

Clean room and comfy beds. Good breakfast. The shared bathrooms were surprisingly nice! Each shower is its own private, lockable cabin, with room to change and shelves for your things. A pile of fresh bath mats is available. And the showers themselves are really nice, modern and clean, with lots of hot water. A decent base for hiking in the area.

The food was fine- the staff was very nice. But this hotel is tired, slightly dirty and just in need of a through cleaning and major updating. Again, the staff were so kind and helpful and welcoming. I would not stay again because of how dated and dusty and dirty it felt.

In our room, the floor was slightly slanted and the bed was uneven.

The hotel's location was fantastic, and the staff were amiable. The breakfast was delicious, and I enjoyed the atmosphere of the old-fashioned hotel.

A minor thing - shared bathrooms. But we already knew that before booking and I guess that is part of the fact that this is a very old hotel, around 100 yrs old. I think there are rooms with private bathrooms so if you're sensitive about that, go for those. As for us, it is okay and adequate since there was almost never a time that we had to wait in line for the bathrooms/toilets.

The hotel is very picturesque. Not only the views but the building and interiors were made tastefully. The dining area has a view of the Jungfrau mountains, and so are the rooms that we booked. We were after traditional Swiss buildings, and we are happy that we got that with Hotel Regina. The staff are VERY helpful and friendly!

The shared bathrooms (1 toilet per gender per floor) were tricky at times since they were busy when the hotel was full. There were numerous times we had to wait to use the toilet. The shower room had 3 shower stalls per floor, which seemed to be enough without needed to wait. Overall, it was a wonderful stay with only minor inconveniences with the toilet. I highly recommend this location!

The view was out of this world! We loved having breakfast with a perfect view of Jungfrau!! The rooms were big and accommodated our group perfectly. The balcony offered a beautiful view and fresh air any time of day! Breakfast was delicious and thoroughly enjoyed by our group!

Breakfast has few options to eat, there should be tissue paper in the room, the hotel floor is wooden, it tends to be noisy when walking, Wi-Fi is available but doesn't work.

We chose to stay here for 1 night for the panoramic view room. We liked it very much. The room was clean, the bed was soft and comfortable to sleep with. The bathroom is clean even though it is shared with another room. The receptionist is friendly and gives good advice.

A really special place, a historic Swiss lodge. The staff were so wonderful, and recommended great hikes. The restaurant was delicious and we were delighted that most of the dishes were vegan. The breakfast spread is also excellent. Hotel Regina strives to be a cultural hub for Mürren, and when we were there we got to enjoy a classical cello concert among other events. There are some old/historic hotel details to be aware of, such as shared bathrooms (two toilets and three showers per floor) and thin walls, but for me that was charming rather than a hardship (everyone has their own values for travel and lodging). I feel lucky to have stayed here.

Receptionist didn’t give us the Mürren pass after we checked in. Lift operators were asking for it to give us a discount. That said, the receptionist gave targeted advice which allowed us to maximize our experiences while we were there.

Breakfast was dope, cold breakfast standard German breakfast. Local bread and cheese, beautiful view while you eat.

Beds were uncomfortable and short for people over 6ft. Standard Swiss “sock” pillows (what we call them because there is absolutely no stuffing in them) as per everywhere else we stayed in the country You could hear other people leaving their rooms or walking around on the floor above etc. worth investing in ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper

Amazing views from our room! Showers and toilets were always clean when we used them. The buffet breakfast was an excellent addition and definitely saved us some money given the prices of food in Switzerland.

Nice hotel in a beautiful location. Staff was friendly. Our room was comfortable. We stayed in a room with a shared bathroom. The facilities were always clean and we never had an issue with other people using the facilities the same time as us. There is one toilet for women and one for men. The shower room has 3 showers and they provide you with mats. Definitely bring shower shoes if using the shared shower. Mürren itself is beautiful and we loved staying there. Would recommend for anyone looking to stay in Mürren!

The extractor fan in the toilet is quite noisy, something that should be looked at by maintenance.
