Parking is tricky you have to pull your parking ticket at the tram station but no sign or info is given. Only found out via a person living in Basel who explained the system.

The curtains were see through, and there was just 1 curtain not big enough to cover the whole window. Also our bed only had 1 blanket which was for a 1 persons bed. It was warm when we stayed there, so we didn't feel cold while sleeping, but still would've been nice if we had a right sized blanket or 2 small blankets.

The bed was comfy and street was quiet and pretty plus close to the centre. The room wasn't big but had everything we needed, and the apartment was quite soundproof, except for when people walked on the stairs. The wifi was fast and the shower was okay. The room temperature was comfortable.

There’s not a lot near the apartment so we had to drive out even to find a convenience store. Nothing was in walking distance. But we had a car so it was ok

It was clean, room came with shower toilet and mini kitchen. Good value for the price It wasn’t fancy but it was comfortable. The surrounding area seemed safe too

Bathroom was a little musty. The apartment in general kept moisture. Bed wasn't very comfortable. Communication wasn't great. The kettle wasn't working and turned out to be tripping the circuit breaker. Messaged via booking.com about it on our first night and heard nothing back since.

Good location near bus stops. Decent size and good sized bed. Good wifi.

The fridge was too noisy. The shutters for the windows were broken. The shower head wasn't fixed it kept moving.

It was very clean, quiet, and comfortable.

There was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke in the apartment. That was quite unpleasant and the main reason for the low rating. In addition the people staying in one of the apartments close to me were noisy until 2am, but obviously this is not the fault of the accomodation.

The apartment is conveniently located. There is a big Migros center close by. It is furnished with everything you need. The contactless check-in worked perfectly.

The only things that I didn't like were: small, not very comfortable bed and there was traffic noise because the room was placed next to the road.

Strong WI-FI connection, clean room, good location, nearby tram stop that leads you to the city center, good facilities and well-enough equipped kitchen.

Wooden floors are creaky. Can be very disturbing when some one walks either in their rooms or in the corridor. Some basic milk and coffee and tea sachets should be kept

Bed was extremely uncomfortable and made worse by only 1 small thin pillow each. We were there for 2 nights and barley slept.

The toiletries/showergel was nowhere near enough for 4 nights. The Iron did not fit into any plug in the Apartment and no Ironing Board,so we could not Iron our shirts. It gets very hot in the room, airconditioning should be an Option. With open window it gets too loud to sleep- with closed windows, you can’t breath.

Booking system

We wanted to book from 28.08 - 30.08.2023, instead the booking was done for 29-30.08.2023. I pointed it out and was assured that I should book again for 29.-30.08.2023 and the STAR company will do the adjustment in the payment. I m waiting gut reimbursement.

Quite soffocating building, with just rooms and rooms with self check-in. Small room. Not really far from the train station, but with bags you need to take a bus and then walk 10 more minutes. Too expensive.

The room was very clean, in a very quiet area, quite close to the train station.

The room was pretty hot and stuffy during the day - could probably have used a fan inside during summer. The host wasn’t responsive in regards to obtaining our Basel Card. Had to walk to the tourist information Center to get our BaselCard for free transport and tourist discounts as we never heard back (this was something that was promised in the booking.com advertisement). We couldn’t figure out how to use the microwave oven - could have used some instructions for this in the room.

Location was very central. The property had a good shower and nice small kitchen. Having a pin key as opposed to a physical key was good when travelling with two people.

Lack of communication. I booked a month in advance and spent time to fill the registration form in detail but this was useless as no contact was done to confirm the registration and the transportation card wasn't provided. No response was received when asked for confirmation or details prior to arrival which kept us wondering until the very last minute if we are having the room or not. Only on the morning of the booking day, finally received the room code. The transportation card wasn't available and we had to manage it on our own. Finally, we get a response that it wasn't given because they don't have our registration details.

Self check in style. Quite difficult to find at the beginning as there is no signboard or anything. Pooling of water at bathroom floor. Didn't know how to use the washing machine & dryer as it wasn't explained in English, texted them to enquire but they didn't even bother to answer my question
