Dirty entrance Wifi code was hidden and was not easy to find . Owner sent poor instructions on how to get in . Tv was broken. Key code to the door didn’t work - I had to knock a neighbours door at 11pm for help to try and get in . I was told I could check out at 11 and a hour earlier I had rude cleaners banging down the door telling me To leave . There was construction work outside which started at 7 a.m . And went right through the morning .

The bed is super soft! You‘ll sink as soon as you lay down. If someone walks in the building it feels like an earthquake. And the room was right next to the entrance. Everyone who walked inside the building could literally look inside which wasn’t difficult since the curtains were not thick enough to provide privacy. You couldn’t sleep since you hear everything from the streets no acoustic shielding! Overall is wasn’t worth the price.

Super easy to enter the room and everything worked perfectly, I didn’t figure out how to lower the Jalousie, but I slept with the balcony door open for the cool air anyway, so it was ok.

Rooms are nothing like the pictures! Rooms are well worn and in disrepair. Also, the staff is extremely unresponsive! We booked 2 rooms under the same reservation. They only gave us 1 room when we checked in late. They never responded or even apologized the next day. Would NEVER recommend this property!

HOT HOT HOT! I think there was 30 degrees inside the room when we arrived and there is no air conditioning or not even a fan to cool down the room. This was in May, so I can only imagine how hot it must be in summer. Horrible. No parking around, very difficult to find any space if you arrive by car. Lack of check in information, no info about wifi before arrival (mobile data in Switzerland is extremely expensive!). The host mentioned that the airport transport and transport around Basels is free for guests, but doesn't inform guests how to obtain this travel card (only when we specifically asked). Not super clear in which keyboard you need to enter the PIN in order to open the door, so we spent quite some time figuring this out too. Fridge not working well, only the freezer compartment actually worked, so we used that one (but it fits only 1x 1.5L bottle inside, very small).

Room is spacious and the pretty clean. Location is in a nice, safe, residential area. There is a lift at the property. Bed was okay, kitchen with basic utensils, but okay for simple cooking.

The dingy passage had a very hostel feel to it (not in a nice way). Basel is a well connected city so it doesn't really matter where you stay in terms of connectivity. But in terms of location, this was certainly not the best as it was quite a distance from the centre/attractions/tourist spots. The door did not open immediately when the code was put in. This has one of the earliest check-outs at 10.30 despite having a 2.30pm check-in, and in spite of this the cleaning staff still came half an hour early (at 10am) to "remind us" to check out. (We had also requested for an early check in which was denied..one would think that they would adjust it against the check-out)

The place had a fully functional kitchenette with crockery, utensils and a kettle. The tiny balcony was a bonus. The view although of the foyer/quad inside the row of buildings is nice and "green"

The sofa bed was not as comfortable as the other bed. Curtains were really thin and sunlight came in really early in the morning.

The location was great. Hotline also responded quickly. Room was also very spacious and had almost everything that we needed. The elevator was also very useful.

We couldn't enter the entrance, despite we entered the password the hotel had told us. After the hotel changed password, we were finally able to get into the room, but until then had to wait outside in the cold winter for an hour.

Communication with the host is not so good, but if you are writing them via email, you will definetely get an answer. The noise from outside. It's like sleeping outside. But, thanks to some old reviews, I knew this already, so with some earplugs, everything was fine.

Location- a few stops by tram no. 16 to the main railway station. Transportation is free on the day of arrival by showing the hotel reservation. On the day of arrival, the host sends you Free Travel Cards, for free travelling inside the city, for the whole period of your stay. You only have to contact them a couple of days before and send them some details of the travellers.. The apartment is very clean. It has a microwave, Wifi, toiletries. You get inside the building by using a code, which you receive from the host. And for the room, the same. It's spacious. Cutlery- for 2 persons. It was warm enough. Although the sockets look different, my charger fit perfect. Extra blanket.

Front door didn't need the code - just pushed open. Security issue. Room was boiling. Radiator valve stuck and could not be adjusted. Had to have windows open day and night. Email requesting repair was unanswered and no one came to repair it. Noisy party in next room one night - during the quiet time- so had to go and stay in the local Ibis hotel for that night!!! The lighting on the stairs to the apartment was not working and lighting from the landings was inadequate- very dangerous. Must be repaired as soon as possible.

It's really really bare minimum for people who need a place to sleep between connections. You can hear literally everything from the apartments around. Don't come here for comfort, but use it as a "shelter" if you need to stay overnight in Basel.

Tram line to SBB is very near. Cheapest option you can find in Switzerland.

Security: at dawn people without a key, made a lot of noise for hours, including jumping on the balcony and hitting the window glass. Furniture: only 2 chair on an apartment for 3 guests and a tiny table. Poor kitchen: vitroceramic working on/off. Pan wlthout lid. No Basel cards available.

there were really no cooking utensils or proper pots and pans to cook with, barely any utensils, NO coffee machine whatsoever. the floor was a bit dirty, shower in the kitchenette area..
