The hotel seems ok but it wasn't clean. The frdige in the common area was really disgusting and dead mosquitos were inside the fridge. And our bathroom was smelling urine which was disgusting

Property was dated squeaky floors, the shower curtain kept falling off (could do with better hooks) No A/C or fan in the room, got quite hot. No TV. Weak WiFi, would not work on the balcony. Steep climb up to the property from the train station, especially when dragging your bags along. No breakfast option. Make sure to ask for the city discount card if you do not get one, it can be used for some local discounts. No cars/parking in Wengen so have to take into account parking and train tickets up to Wengen so staying there can get quite expensive.

Difficult location. Can’t get there by car and it’s a 10-15 minute walk from the train station so we paid (30 franks) for a round trip transfer. Very small room with twin beds. The community is mainly for hikers or skiers, so people probably don’t spend a lot of time in their rooms. But it was very clean.

The room was extremely small, but we booked last minute and we had somewhere to sleep. Otherwise, not someplace I would use again. However, the views from the property were amazing, the room was clean and the staff extremely helpful.

the hotel could use a renovation/refurbishing. the walls and ceilings are too thin and the carpets could be refurbished.

The room I got overlooked a stunning view of the mountains. location was peaceful. the rooms were tidied everyday. Also good value for money given the late timing of my booking.

The room in my category didn't offer double beds. Room walls were super thin, we couldn't enjoy ourselves just because the people could hear us in the other room. - Thin walls - Small room - Room decoration could have been a lot better. The lamp looked like centuries old made of paper.

The hotel decoration is really old. It seems that you travel in time to a James Bond movie that was filmed in the 70s.

The hotel is clean and tidy. The room had a stunning view. The location was the best thing in this hotel. Staff were friendly and we checked in and out without any issues.

the rooms are very tiny and very musty. I understand it is an older property, but it’s time for an update! our closet smelled like fish. the balcony gave my daughter slivers. Also it’s a bit of a journey from the train to the hotel with luggage.

the staff was lovely and the views were incredible. We enjoyed the outdoor seating.

the downstairs bathroom was dark, poor ventilation shower very odd- low ceiling, and have to bend under faucet, this bathroom really needs updating. Some of the rest of chalet was dated but acceptable bc the building is very old and charming. would have loved to have shampoo as well as coffee provided for the coffee maker.

loved the location, staff, views, bedding and the chalet was roomy. loved sitting outside on porch. kitchen was very nice also. loved we had room to spread out. lobby was lovely. we stayed in the chalet behind the hotel with our large family
