Location quite far from the city centre and with no restaurants/structures nearby. Unfortunately the restaurant on site was also undergoing renovation. Moreover it must be taken into account that the facility is attached to the railway, so with some noise from passing trains until late at night.

Very comfortable rooms, with all services. Good and abundant breakfast. Great hospitality. Suggested for cyclists staying one or more nights in the region. Locked garage for bikes on site.

The breakfast was stingy. We arrived for breakfast an hour before it was due to finish and there was hardly anything there. Just a couple of slightly stale bread rolls and some bread. No croissants, no pastries. Considering the price of the accommodation, breakfast was disappointing.

The hotel is in the process of being renovated. They have finished the rooms, and they are excellent.

The hotel was very accommodating as when we had very hot day and needed fresh air they allowed us to use another room witha balcony so our little family could get some much needed air. They also changed our room as we were facing the sun and gave us a back cooler room.

The quality of the pillows - They were very very thin and did not provide any support for you neck or spine . This is pretty standard in Switzerland - most hotels have the same pillows but none of them provide sufficient neck support as they practically have no filling in them. We bought our own travel TEMPUR pillows as we know hotel pillows well but in Switzerland they are really particularly thin almost like a sofa cushion not a pillow so some strange reason ?

The showers were very good and in fact the entire room and the bathroom. The restaurant was also good and the staff were friendly . :-)

For some reason the person that checked us in gave us a rear room facing the hill and railway line so noisy and no view. When I asked water the same evening the helpful guy asked for my name to also check if breakfast was included - and then said you should have been in room at the front with views of Rigi mountain. It was too late to change that night so we moved after breakfast once the owner had confirmed wrong room given. Breakfast was simple and good Swiss style. But they need to put fly screens in as having flies buzzing around near food and on you eating isn't healthy. Expensive but it was a long holiday weekend and was better value than most other places nearby.

The owner and staff were very friendly. Room was very clean and shower great.

The hotel was very clean. The room was a good size and although our room faced the road we couldn't hear the traffic noise. The staff were polite and friendly and spoke good English. There was a good choice for breakfast and everything was fresh. The timings for breakfast were good ie spread over a few hours.

if you have a car, location is great, close to highway connection. Without a car, you are lost.

The hotel restaurant food is OK, home type comfort food on the mark. However, the food pricing is very, very high for what they serve - basic dish - chicken filet + fries + some veggies 34SF (34Eur), a glass of nice red Italian red wine 11SF (barely covered the bottom of glass), roughly 1/2 volume of what a glass of wine would be in Italy, Austria or Germany...a single shot of espresso 4SF....Comes across as gauging! See pics of items listed above to get a sense of what money buys at this restaurant.

Rooms are very comfortable, stayed there a few times in the past. Hotel staff is very friendly.
