The only downside for me and my friends is that there is only 1 shared toilet bathroom per floor. So hard for us to wait for our turn. My suggestion is to also provide a water kettle in the room with glass or cup.

All i can say is worth of experiences living like a local, the owner is very accommodating trying to help all guests the best they could. For those who are driving there is plenty of parking available.

It is an older building and you will hear everyone else’s movements and feel bad if you’re the noisy ones like we were with the kids coming in late after a long day of sightseeing. No climate control but we just opened a window and it cooled off quickly with the river running by just on the other side of the lot. There would be a lot of cigarette smoke float in from the porch below where the smokers would gather. Luckily, we were usually out late so it was just the mornings that were annoying if you don’t smoke.

Location and staff were AMAZING!!! Breakfast buffet was great for my family. Parking right out front with amazing views. Close to Interlaken, Grindelwald and Lauterbrunen. All FANTASTIC!! Shared bathroom with a couple other rooms was a new experience for my kids who had to learn to knock and lock when they were inside. The family room was fantastic with a bunk bed for my older kids and big bed for my wife and I to split with our toddler.

No public transport or shuttle bus from the closest station (Zweilutschinen) so 15-20mins walk to this accomodation which may or may not be an issue depending on how much luggage you have although it is a very nice scenic walk. No local taxis either (they usually come from Interlaken and can cost a fair amount for a 5minute drive to the hotel).

Beautiful location right infront of a stream. Authentic Swiss chalet style accomodation. Comfortable bedding and temperature. Daily breakfast included and was really good. Bathroom was shared with another couple but was clean.

A lot of noise, even on the train station is renovation, but the guest house 🏡 is right on the road with constant traffic so you need ear plugs to sleep well there.

We liked our breakfast served in the separate room, where you feel welcomed and special. The place has a lot of history with einter sports and trophies are exposed well there.

Can hear next door talk very clearly, almost no soundproof of the room. The next door talked until 3AM, without ear plug I cannot sleep, so I bought a pair ear plug in the hotel with 5 Euro.
