I think the only thing that could use some work is that since the house walls are so thick and have literal stone as shingles; I think each house would benefit from its own router hooked up with a stronger signal. Guests would definitely be happier because my WiFi in the room kept cutting out and had awful connection. So I was big sad about that. BUT! That’s the only thing I can think of as food for thought for the owner. Otherwise great place and I wish I could live there! 🥹

The whole compound is like a modern wonderful romanticized medieval style village with just the most comfy beds. I slept so good and haven’t slept that way in a long time. The area is quiet and peaceful with amazing views! If I could stay here my whole trip I would! 10/10 highly recommend.

Finding the place, especially at night is very hard, Google maps only brings you about 100m close and then there are no signs, and house numbers hardly exist on the other houses. The entry is at the far end after a narrow passing. The sign to the sight, which I saw then in the morning, is high up, and the lamps which should have illuminated it were not on. Actually, I had been standing under it on my 1st try ... it took me 30 min to find the entry. Suggestion: post a picture of the narrow passway (the House Orange) and make sure a light above the sign is on.

Unfortunately, I only stayed overnight, but it is a really nice location making good use of the historic buildings.

The Rustici Maggia are a little jewel, tucked away at the hill side of Ronchini, and r^directly connected to hiking paths. It is quiet but close to reaching the main valley road, taking only a few minutes to restaurants and shops.

The room was too small. We couldn't open our luggage in proper. And the worst one the bathroom in the room was closed and we used the separate bathroom unfortunately.

It was very clean and cute place. The furniture, kitchen and bath was very clean.

The area around the appartements is shared with other visitors of Rustici. So you can have other people sitting in front of your door or you may want barbecue but someone else is faster 😐

Our experience at Rustico Cottage #2 was nothing short of delightful. Its ideal location in the heart of Maggia Valley, near the Ronchini bus stop, offered us stunning views. The cottage itself was a cozy haven, with a modern kitchen, a comfortable bedroom, and a refreshing shower in the bathroom. We were so enamored that moving in crossed our minds, and without a doubt, we'll be returning.

The indoor spaces were quite stuffy, but we could not leave the windows open in the evening for ventilation because there were mosquitoes outside.

The Rustici were very cute. The outdoor spaces were lovingly decorated and wonderful to hang out. The kitchen was well equipped and the rooms and bathrooms were simple and clean.

The house itself was rather small, 4 people could not sit down inside for an apero. But on the flip side there were tables and benches in front of the house.

Beautiful location, super cute little traditional style houses. We stayed only 1 night but I wish it was few more. The check-in/ out was easy and the house was perfectly clean.

Walking to the bathroom in the rain wasn’t too pleasant but we are also not made of sugar! :) It was a bit hard to find our cottage as we arrived late at night in the dark. It would be great to install plates with directions.

It’s a great location, really original and truly charming. The communication with the staff was great, we even got a map with parking spots explained.
