It’s not a shortcoming but some restoration works could increase the value of the hotel. You can see that is was once a glorious hotel. To bring some history back would be wonderful

Broken glass on the patio, couldn't see where it was coming from. My husband didnt like the eggs at breakfast but that was just personal preference.

Beautiful location right near the lake front. Quick walk to bus or ferry. Magical swimming spot just 250m down the road. We had been turned away from two other accommodation that we had booked but they didn't have room for us so this was a last minute booking. They were super helpful and friendly and were able yo meet all of our needs.

Lack of a kettle to make Tea / Coffee in our room was a disappointment .

Location. Roomy comfortable room. Helpful staff. Garage to store our bikes overnight. Excellent breakfast.

The church bell nearby rang every 15 minutes so if you're a light sleeper you would need to close the windows. But you need the windows open in the summer if it's too hot because there's no AC. But it's not unusual to not have AC just the bell was loud. The room could have been a little cleaner, a couple tiny hairs on the bed and found a cob web and spider. Didn't really bother me just giving feedback. Nothing to worry about.

Staff was very nice. Great location. Great food options nearby and swimming.

The WIFI connection in our room was inconsistent. At night the room was too hot for good sleeping. The shower drain didn’t work well. We didn’t try any meals in the restaurant because we understood it’s now Chinese food.

The church is very closely and the bells ring 4 times an hour. You have to close all the windows to be able to sleep.

The manager (chinese) is a very rude person. When we arrived we had a lot of luggage and parked in front of door. He went out and in a rude way told us to get out of there. Also, my mom, elderly, one day was not feeling well and took a cup of tea to the room and he told us not to do that in a rude way.His enployees (chinese young ladies) are very nice and polite. The facilities are very old.

Outstanding location, right accross the lake. Parking onsite, very convenient and breakfast buffet was ok.

Carpet in the room should be changed as it is old. Eggs are fried in reused oil and it is oily so I just ate the boiled eggs. Pillows is soft.

Dominic and his brother are very helpful! Courteous, professional. The hotel is dated but very clean. Beds are comfortable, Room has beautiful view of the lake. Breakfast is OK except for the fried eggs. Location is just in front of BUS 502 (from Luzern and going to Vitznau). Also front of the boat.

Staff was super friendly. They gave us a huge room w/terrace overlooking the lake. Brought in a spare bed for our son as well. The location is perfect. We got a room the day for Swiss National day and we had low expectations, but the location, super friendly staff, big room and for what we paid, couldn't have asked for more. I saw some negative posts and not sure what the expecations were but for the price we paid and everything else it was a great experience and we could come back.

no one was taking our calls, the entire Hotel front was not lighted at all when we came home from dinner and it looked so eerie. we were the only guests. The next morning we asked to speak to the Person in charge, the staff n owner did not speak English, owner greeted us with a very Angry face. so unwelcoming!

Definitely the manager or owner who only knows to talk in German or may be Chinese and that was a bit turn off for me. In general the man showed a bit of arrogance which I don’t give a damn (no one should as well). He asked us to wear our mask where other folks were moving without masks and he never told them anything and at times even he was not wearing mask. The lift was also so small that my Kinderwagon didn’t fit into it.

Location is probably the best part of the hotel. The supporting staff were really good. Overall the hotel was neat and clean and value for money

Staff: the manager does not speak English. Room: - there are no power sockets on the bedside table, they are distant and uncomfortable; - the WIFI does not work in the rooms, it barely connects in the corridor but not inside the rooms or out in the rose garden; - there is no air conditioning in the room: the solution is to keep the windows open during the night .... problem: at 07.00 am they started cleaning the leaves and petals of the rose garden with a noisy blower motor staff...... Cleanliness: The massive use of heavy tablecloths and over tablecloths on the dining and breakfast room tables, dark in color and not immaculate white, which are only brushed between sets, leaves you with a sense of poor cleanliness.

The location is great in the heart of Weggis and on the lake front.

The cleanliness is a first part - in out room we had hairs everywhere and they were not ours. In the bathroom there is nothing except soap and even the dispenser was broken. Breakfast was just horrible, because all the bakery and bread stuff was quite old, like 2 days ago it was baked and then served for a breakfast. Staff - on the reception there was a guy, who doesn't even reply to a Good Morning. When I was checking out he just took a key and said "9 franks", it was a city tax. He didn't even say goodbye, just silently handed over the paper with the bill. Extremely friendly person 😄

The location of the hotel is perfect and the balcony view is just amazing.

Room was small in spite of paying extra for upgrade. Patron assured us this was a delux room, which it was not. The room was not vacumed over all the 4 days we were there and one day not even the beds were done or bathroom cleaned. Breakfast was minimal, bread baked a few times. No fascilities for refreshments at all, no fridge in room.. No sunshade at all on the baclcony.

The location is super. Bathroom was ok.
