Definitely needs updating and brightening up. Shame the the restaurant was closed on Monday and Tuesday for ala carte dinner but a set menu was available.

Fantastic views, friendly and welcoming staff. Free bus tickets were great for duration of stay.

Beautiful location by the lake. Hotel could use an update in rooms and bathrooms. Felt antiquated. Very nice and helpful personnel. Room had balcony with partial lake view.

The noise from the other guests didn’t help me sleep, I’m a light sleeper so I couldn’t sleep right away. No mini fridge

I arrived pretty late at about 2pm to Interlaken Ost and took a walk towards the hotel. I did this to taken in the sights and because I wasn’t carrying a lot ( just a backpack and small duffle). The hotel is right next to the lake, the bus stop is very close just a short 5 min walk from the hotel. I didn’t stay long (just one night) and since I had to catch an early train the following day, I told them about an early check out and they said I could just no one would be at the desk in the early morning, 5am, and to pay the taxes fee (about 4 Swiss francs). Also the hotel closes the front door at 9pm, if you come back after you would have to come in from the back of restaurant thats right next to the hotel. The room was small perfect for a solo traveler and had a TV with cable, blowdryer, small safe, a small table with a comfy sofa seat and closet space. I was surprised to see no mini fridge though. The bathroom was small but clean. The shower had a small space to sit which is nice for people who need it. However, since it is small the toilet is very close to the shower so it is a bit of a tight space. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. It was pretty noisy at night as I could hear the other guests in the room above and in the hallway. Not super noisy but just something to keep in mind. I wasn’t able to try their free breakfast as I did an early check out. All in all, great place for solo travelers and the view from the hotel is amazing even if you don’t get a balcony view. :)

The bed , blanket and pillows too old to use for a tourist who’s looking to relax and enjoy.

The Seehotel is clean and staff are friendly. Room Furnitures are old and bed is shrinking at the same time the pillows. Very uncomfortable to sleep and relax when you’re on vacation means to relax but this is not the place to stay.

Property is too old and the rooms doors, furniture, bathrooms needs to upgrade, hard to find the electrical outlets, please stay away from this hotel if you can. we booked two rooms together they separated us on different floors. Lights won't stay on the corridor it's too dark in the night you have to find the switch with the flash light to turn on the light, Elevator too small and old. One of the bathrooms had floor linoleum installed on the walls. I do not remember so many other things. But it was very disappointing.

Just the view and it's next to the Brienz Lake. Dining hall was nicely setup. Free parking.

Besides that there was no kettle, no privacy at the terrace, no AC. the room is full of spiders!, and my wife (as many people) is afraid of spiders, therefore I have told the reception about it and he replied with (we are in a country side, do u want me to grab it for u ?) I said yes please, he replied "couldn't u do that by yourself!!", I have been in many countries and places that considered "country side" and never seen as much spiders as here!

Great terrace for breakfast enjoying the views over the lake and the mountains. Nice spot for swimming in the lake right in front of the hotel. Very well connected with Interlaken West station, just a few minutes by bus. Transport ticket for local transport in Interlaken area (rail&bus) included in your stay (as usual in Switzerland).

Facilities were very outdated They provide everything only on request No kettle No charging points in the room at the reachable place ( we found them under the table/bed or in the toilet ) Hair dryer point was not working in the toilet Breakfast was very basic Rooms don’t have automatic locks you have to leave the KEY reception Location is out of the town , if you are looking for peacefully setup then this is the hotel But bus connectivity is there at every 30 mins till 7pm

I really did not like the first room which has 4/1 mountain view they also charged me for tea which should be provided in the room anyway

I stayed for 3 nights, first night I was provided with moderate room, when I asked them to change it, the owner directly arranged what could only be described as the best room view at the entire hotel
