TV didn't work for the whole duration of my stay. And my room wasn't cleaned on one occasion. Although that may have been an error on my part as I left do no disturbi hook on the door.

Attentive staff, was upgraded to a more spacious comfortable room, lovely breakfast relaxed not rushed, very clean and a perfect location to my niece who lives in Murten. I have been to this hotel 2yrs ago and will definitely be returning for my 3rd visit.

The cleaning staff is literally horrible. They don't know how to clean, twice they completely forgot to clean or they didn't do the cleaning, they didn't change the towels, they didn't take out the trash cans. The lady owner is trying, but it's difficult with such poor staff. Towards the end of the stay, urine could be smelled in the room apparently leaking somewhere from the waste, we were offered a change of room, but considering that our stay was ending, we somehow survived the last two nights.

I have to praise the breakfasts except that on a later visit the better pastries run out and are not replenished. Excellent location of the hotel right next to the lake, parking in the underground garage, even though there are plenty of parking spaces around the hotel.

Very dated design inside and out (although the rooms and bathrooms seemed to have been refreshed). About a 15 minute walk from the railway station or the old town of Murten… nothing much around the hotel itself.

Breakfast was just OK, choice was limited and quality could have been a bit better for the room rate paid, smoked salmon was cheap and tough, sliced bread was also cheap, OJ was from concentrate, that said it was good enough to set us up on our way. Room was a bit tired, one of the drawers wouldn't stay shut

Quiet location, good parking, within walking distance of town centre. Friendly helpful staff, comfortable room, not 4 star quality but fine for somewhere to sleep for one night. Nice bathroom with Jack and Jill sinks and a big bath. Useful to have a fridge in the room

You can argue about taste of the internal design and the hotel architecture.

A realy quite place, easy to reach by train after a short walk (10'), and very close the the lake and open beach (300 m) with a lovely bar and wonderful view. The breakfast room was a little bid crowed, but the staff was very friendly and after a short time, a table was prepared and ready for a relaxing and rich breakfast. The staff has realy done an excellent job and if something was missing, it was refilled within no time.

Very comfortable room, with air conditioning which was greatly appreciated during a heatwave. Great rooftop terrace with view on the lake. Receptionist at check in and check out was very friendly and happy to speak French. Very good breakfast

The hotel lacked atmosphere - the check in was not open when we arrived but opened after 15:00 and all staff left by 20:00 and the front door was closed by then too. There is a massive empty area around reception which could have been made nicer with more division of space - perhaps more couches? The hotel breakfast buffet was ok but only hot food was make your own boiled eggs. There was nothing really around the hotel apart from a housing estate and factories so it was not exactly on the lake but was only a 5 minute walk to it.

We liked our suite - the kitchen area and separate bedroom were very good. The beds were super comfortable. The room was very quiet and the wifi worked well. The bathroom was spacious and had a bath and a separate shower. The breakfast was adequate.

It's difficult to make an accurate (or fair) assessment in the covid-affected times, but the hotel seemed rather somber, partly because the bar(s) had been shut while we were there and there isn't an on-site restaurant.

Although the hotel is at the very far eastern end of Murten, that just means a very pleasant 10-15 minute walk into the centre on the lakeshore promenade, so that was fine. Breakfast was entirely self-serve (in these covid-19 times) but well presented and fully adequate. It's a very quiet location. For travellers by car, there seemed adequate on-site parking which is certainly not always the case for hotels in the middle of Murten.
