Great location right beside most museums. Hotel rooms are great, very big, and spacious. It also has a fridge to store food and tap for water. The hotel has an option to take electric bikes and also an electric car you must book in advance. We took.the bikes and cycled to france and germany, which was only about 15 minutes away but a great extra.. Also you get a free basel card when you arrive which includes the bus back to the airport. Also, a handy tip if you're flying, don't pay for the bus into basel your hotel booking reference for any hotel counts as your bus ticket.

Tv was not accepting the mirroring, not a big deal for me. Shower and toilet area were separate, I like them together since I do all my stuff in one go. I would have liked more toiletries.

It is a really nice hotel. The room and service exceeded my expectations. We were in attic room in March (20-24). We slept with open windows and I cannot comment on air conditionaire. The street is very quiet and the only source of noise is occational street car that we could tolerate. With closed windows the noise from street cars would be very little.

Not in the control of the hotel, but the road was very noisy in the early morning with various lorries and machinery cleaning the road outside.

Excellent location on the edge of the old town. Interesting combination of old guest house, theatre and art displays with the modern building that we stayed in. Nice breakfast (expensive but in line with everything in Switzerland).

The staff was super helpful and friendly. The hotel is conveniently located near the bus and tram stops. I love the music in the air, being right next to the Basel music academy. The breakfast had delicious and fresh options. The bar at the hotel has excellent service and desserts. Free bike rental and Basel card are great bonuses.

It was a little confusing having to check in across the road but it’s all good once we figured it out.

If you are looking for a hotel with a large lobby, bar and common area, it may fell short.

This is a Residence Hotel, breakfast is across the street so your stay will shine mostly when you are in your room. Staff is friendly and the breakfast very nice. The location of the hotel is a key advantage if you are visiting the town. Overall, it was a nice stay.

The location was very close to the center, we could visit everything by walking. The tram was also very close which is great. We loved our view as well! The staff was very friendly and they cleaned our room every day.

We had such a wonderful stay at SET Hotel.Residence by Teufelhof Basel. The room was fantastic! It was so quiet and comfortable and such a joy to come back to in the evenings after a long day exploring the city. We would definitely stay here again.

Maybe more thought needed for somewhere to sit in room if you were a couple cooking a meal , we had a room with cooking facilities , we had to sit on bed or on a stool .
