How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The glass wall between the bathroom and the bedroom. When we went to the toilet in the middle of the night, we lit up the entire bedroom with the light from the bathroom
The room was large and very comfortable. Breakfast was extra but very nice.

Perhaps staff could give more information regarding local amenities, transportation and general tourist information, though this may be available upon request it would be nice to have been asked if we had everything sorted, once the purpose of stay was determined
I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room. It was actually bigger than expected. The view however could have a been slightly better, however I appreciate that the hotel cannot be held responsible for the construction work going on around them at other sites. Facilities were quite clean and tidy, comfortable sleep and overall relaxing atmosphere Breakfast was good as well. Options available for every dietary requirement as far as I saw I would definitely stay there again

The facilities were not good coffee etc was old and crusty capsules. The phone and no numbers or card to tell you who to call, just a blank phone. No operator numbers etc.. no you tube on the TV. They turned to heating down from a central base, so we could not put it up with about telling them.

Opposite the train station, train sound coming to the room. There is an electric curtain system, but when closing the next room the sound is just like in your room.

Had to come downstairs to get an adapter plug for the in room iron. Should have fit without adapter.

The location is out of the city in an unattractive area.. On Sunday, there was no food available on either the terrace or lounge at lunchtime. This was surprising and unacceptable in an area where nothing else is open on a Sunday.
Large comfortable room on quiet side of hotel. Opposite side is close to train track and is quite noisy. Excellent buffet breakfast with good choices and a choice of freshly prepared eggs. Very pleasant service both at reception and in the restaurant..

Room size for a family of 4 is small but manageable, AC was not good, it got stuck at 23.5 degrees and no help provided as they claim this is normal.

I feel they have staff shortage and they are not very competent in thier work. Forgotten to put water in the room or milk for the coffee .call room service nobody answer. We wait more than one hour for check in after 3:00 pm. May be what I am mentioning here is normal but when I know that this is sheraton and we are paying alot of money for the room definitely I shouldn't expect this happening

It would be nicer and less hot if there was more green ( grass, plants) around. There was a nice outside seating area but all concrete. The glass in the shower. You could close it from in the room, but still no privacy in the shower. And some hand soap on the sink would have been easier.
