There was a dangerous standard lamp with exposed wires in the corner of the room. Some of the furniture eg the bedside tables were rickety and unstable. The crockery in the kitchen was minimal and some of it was chipped.

We loved the bells which rang regularly every hour. The flat was well laid out and the bed was comfy; the bathroom was great and the kitchen adequately equipped. The electrical sockets were adequate. The location is superb, you are right in the centre of the town and could hear people chattering in the street, the buskers and the clock in the town square. I know other people are not so keen on this but we really enjoyed it.

One needs to climb up a narrow flight of stairs to reach the lift which takes you to the studio. Navigating this with large heavy suitcases can be tricky or present a difficulty for people with mobility issues.

The studio we stayed in was spotlessly clean with a kitchen and dining counter, and super comfortable. The best part about the studio is its location, which is just 2 mins walk from the Rippone M Béjart metro station (3 stops from the Lausanne Gare). It is also just right smack in the middle of the old town and one gets to see the hustle and bustle of market days.

The building has an elevator but only from the second floor so expect to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs! A few simple additions would make the apartment more welcoming, e.g. some basic condiments (salt, pepper, etc), tea bags, and a few pods for the coffee machine! Some basic tourist information would also benefit guests, e.g. a Lausanne guide and map. For the TV, an ability to Chromecast would be great (better than cable channels).

Our studio apartment was spacious and comfortable, with a modern bathroom. Shops, cafes, restaurants and the excellent Manor supermarket are all nearby. A Metro station is also close by. The street can be noisy but quietens down in the evening. (Weekends might be different.)

We had to walk stairs which was difficult given the limited mobility of one of the family members. The bed was decent, but not too comfortable. Internet was reliable but not very fast.

Very easy to get into the property: the access codes were emailed ahead and parking place was near - even though the property is right in the centre of Lausanne. The property was clean and well equipped (with little kitchen, shower, etc).

The room had a low ceiling so it was a bit claustrophobic for a tall person. The heating was going off from time to time, so it was a bit cold in the room. The first floor doesn’t have access to an elevator so if you are coming with big suitcase it might be a problem. The room being in the entrance hallway, you could hear a lot of noise, especially children crying.

The room was very clean and it was well equipped. It was very comfortable and the location being in the center made it perfect.

There is an elevator but only from first floor onwards, you have to climb some stairs first from ground floor. You can also hear the church bells in the room but nothing too loud.

The room was sufficient with a nice bed and basic kitchen facilities (refrigerator, microwave, stove, etc). The location was also very central with bakeries, supermarkets and shops nearby. The hosts were also very responsive on any queries and very helpful.

Well decorated, spacious, good shower, kitchen equipment and TV. We were able to leave our cases in the shop underneath the studio (while the shop was open) and they took them up for us when the room was ready. This was very helpful. Good communications with the hosts. The property is well located in Lausanne. It is very close to a metro which is very handy for avoiding steep walks in the city (e.g. from the train station) and for accessing Ouchy.

The apartment was as described in the listing. It was very convenient for walking around the city. The fan provided was nice considering it was very hot at the time we were there. We opened the windows and used the fan to cool off. We liked that the bathroom was a good size and the shower was entirely enclosed unlike some European bathrooms. We used the sleeper sofa and the linens provided were comfortable and the mattress was not uncomfortable. The apartment was spacious enough for a family of 4 if you don't mind sharing a double size sofa bed and a queen size regular bed.

There is no lift to assist for my luggage. Hence it's a bit difficult to bring them up and down. Could be a bit better if you are able to provide more pillows.

The excellent location is really a plus point for this stay. Everything from shopping to food is within walking distance. The kitchen was well equipped for us to cook some simple meals which helps to save a bit of our budget from dining out all day.
