Bedroom was lovely, but it was quite small and the bathroom was very small.

The breakfast was excellent, amazing variety of food and drink, excellent quality, amazing bread selection, great coffee. Nicely refurbished hotel, very clean. Convenient ski storage and excellent heated boot room. All the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and made our stay special. Even the other guests were very friendly to us! Ski in ski out location of the hotel was a big bonus and great setting right in the middle of the village.

We stayed in the suite room with balcony, which has a stand alone tub. This was arguably our favorite room that we have ever stayed in. The bed and blankets were exceptionally cozy, especially as nights can get cold even in the summer. The rainfall shower head was robust, and my girlfriend loved the soak tub, especially after a day of hiking. Great breakfast included that will get you energized for a day of activities. no dinner at the hotel, but their recommendations were also stellar. killer views from the balcony. morning views and golden hour provide some inspiration

Very helpful host who generously shared his knowledge of the Aletch arena with us. Great breakfast including a good choice of healthy breads and delicious homemade granola and muesli. Fantastic views.

The food wasn’t our favorite, but it was also very traditional Swiss and we’re just not used to that.

Everything! Our room was glorious. The huge soaking tub was perfect for sore muscles after a long hike and the room design was modern and stylish and luxurious. The bed was comfortable, and the balcony view was perfect. we watched sunset from the balcony while sipping tee.

We were charged both via booking and upon checkout. Since I was participating in the Aletsch half marathon, my partner checked out and he was not aware the reservation was already paid via my creditcard. He then had to pay again, and only when we reconciled our banking statements weeks later we figured something was wrong. Despite weeks having go by, the hotel did not reach out to us. When we contacted the hotel to ask for a refund, they asked us to provide the evidence instead. It then took weeks and an escalation to booking.com to get refunded. As such, we will not stay here again. We travel a lot - if each hotel where we stay would do this it would be a nightmare. Also, please note that even if you are Swiss, have a CHF creditcard and make a booking in CHF, Booking.com converts the amount into EUR, which means you incur a currency conversion fee on your CHF creditcard despite booking a Swiss hotel.

The property is simple, but well located. The room is a little dated but that counts for most properties in this price range in Bettmeralp (we have been here more often). Breakfast is simple but everything you need is essentially there.

Very small room. No pieces of fruit at breakfast. One member of staff also worked at the ski school. While she was friendly at the hotel, she was unfriendly to us when working at the ski school.
